Cetiol® SoftFeel is the newest soft-solid emollient developed by BASF Care Creations®. It is made from 100% renewable ingredients and is 100% naturally derived, according to ISO 16128. The versatile ingredient helps to moisturize and leave a soft feeling on the skin. For hair care applications, Cetiol® SoftFeel helps improve the wet and dry combability. It gently manages the frizz of curly hair without weighing it down and offers nourishment to damaged, coily hair. It can also act as a clean alternative to petroleum-based petrolatum, as the ingredients have very similar sensory and occlusivity properties. Cetiol® SoftFeel is applicable in a variety of beauty and personal care applications.

Cegesoft® HF 62 is a hydrogenated vegetable oil that can modify the rheological properties of emulsions. This ingredient is primarily composed of hydrogenated vegetable oils and appears as beige pellets with a bland odor. It is a versatile ingredient that can be used in various product categories, including after-sun formulations, baby care and cleansing products, body care, color care, face care, face cleansing, and self-tanning products.

Neutrol® MGDA is a highly stable, eco-friendly complexing agent (also called a chelating agent) for personal care applications. This is BASF’s Care Creations®, which is readily biodegradable and stands out due to its excellent ecological and toxicological profile. Complexing agents are used in cosmetic products to form very stable complexes with metal ions, thereby inactivating their negative influences on the final formulation.

BASF D-Panthenol 50P is an active ingredient that improves the appearance of skin, hair, and nails. It is ideal for deeply penetrating moisturizers. Its applications include skin care, cleanser, sun care, mother and baby products, hair care, shampoo and conditioner, bath and body products, hand and foot care, personal care, men's beard care, antiperspirants and deodorants, and oral care.

Slim-Excess® is a nature-based active derived from red algae and was BASF’s first active for both face and body products, supporting anti-aging, skin tone, and skin synergy claims. Edeta® BS is an amino-carboxylic acid with six functional groups whose characteristic reactions enable them to form complexes. It is used as an organic chelating agent for cosmetic formulations and can sequester undesirable metal ions, preventing precipitation of the salts responsible for water hardness and protecting against rancidity and color changes caused by heavy metal ions.

Plantapon® LGC Sorb is an anionic surfactant that combines the characteristic mildness of APG® with excellent foaming and sensory properties, making it especially suitable for use in mild rinse-off applications. Applications for this product include body wash, face wash, liquid hand soap, shampoo, baby care, and sensitive skin care. This product has an active matter of 28.5-34.0%, a pH value of 5.5-6.5%, and a water content of 62.0-67.0%.

PatcH2O® A00297 is a powerful ‘anti-thirst’ moisturizing ingredient that provides intense, prolonged hydration that rejuvenates and smooths skin. It's an instant relief that sticks around, increasing skin hydration from 30 minutes after application to up to 5 days after application. The biopolymer network is enriched with a highly concentrated moisturizing complex.

Collalift®18 is an extract derived from the precious mahogany bark, which helps to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin. With its multi-dimensional anti-aging properties, it minimizes the appearance of skin roughness and wrinkles, while enhancing elasticity. This product is suitable for use in skin care treatments, serums, and cosmetics.

Euperlan® PK 771 BENZ is a cold-processable, pasty pearl shine concentrate with a typical faint odor. The product is suitable for dense and particularly brilliant surfactant preparations with a silky shine. This product is recommended for use in skin care, cleanser, mother and baby, hair care, shampoo and conditioner, bath and body, face care, pet care, pet care TSCA, and pet care DSL with quantity restrictions.

Plantacare® 1200 UP is a nonionic surfactant with good dermatological compatibility and viscosity-enhancing effects. It is therefore suitable for use as an additive or a co-surfactant in cosmetic surfactant cleansing preparations. It is a cloudy, viscous, aqueous solution of a C12 - C16 fatty alcohol polyglycolide.

Tinogard® Q is an excited state light quencher used to protect personal care products from degradation caused by exposure to UV radiation in transparent packaging. It is complementary to UV light absorber, allowing for a highly cost-effective UV light stabilizer system. It is applied in body wash, face wash, liquid hand soap, skin care, shampoo, hair conditioner, and fragrances.

Lanette® SX is a cream base for cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions used for skin and hair care. It is self-emulsifying and anionic in nature, and is an alternative to stearate-based cream bases. It is composed of a mixture of cetylstearyl alcohol and an anionic emulsifier, and appears as white pellets with a faint intrinsic odor.

RetiSTAR® is an oily dispersion containing retinol, tocopherol, sodium ascorbate, and PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil in caprylic/capric triglycerides. The ratio and absolute concentration of these four ingredients are well-balanced to achieve maximum stability of retinol in cosmetic emulsions. Retinol is an active ingredient for sophisticated cosmetic skin care products. It is a highly effective substance for the care of aging skin, protecting against photo-aging, specifically wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, and loss of elasticity.

Cremophor® GS 32 is a distearate ester of triglycerol, with good physiological compatibility (PEG-free). It is a nonionic emulsifier that is suitable for emulsions with high concentrations of natural oils and UV filters and is an alternative to EO or sulfate-based emulsifiers. It can be used in face and body creams for dry and greasy skin, as well as in sun protection preparations.

Luvitol® Lite is an emollient that is suitable for use in a variety of cosmetic products. It is a clear to slightly cloudy liquid with a distinct smell. It is commonly used in after-sun products, baby care and cleansing products, body care products, color care products, face care products, face cleansing products, personal care wipes, and sun protection products.

Salcare® SC 95 is a versatile conditioning polymer and rheology modifier used in various cosmetic applications. It enhances the performance of skin and hair care products, providing thickening, conditioning, suspending, stabilizing, good spreading, opacifying, and moisturizing effects. It is composed of a cationic homopolymer dispersed in carrier oil.

Tinogard® TT is a phenolic antioxidant used to stabilize oxidant-sensitive cosmetic formulations and ingredients. Gluadin® R Benz is an amber, low-viscous liquid with a characteristic inherent odor. It is a rice protein hydrolysate, suitable as a care additive for the application in personal care products, such as mild surfactant preparations, skin, and hair care products.

Cetiol® SN is a medium-spreading emollient with a traditional usage in modern cosmetic applications. It is a clear, slightly yellowish, odorless oil with polar properties. The product finds its application in skin care, sun care, mother and baby care, bath and body care, face care, and self-tanning formulations.

Nephoria™ BC10044 is a part of the sustainable and responsible Rambutan program. It is a natural alternative to retinol without its drawbacks. It has a 2-in-1 approach against signs of aging. It visibly reduces the appearance of wrinkles and improves skin elasticity for younger-looking skin.

UVINUL® A PLUS B is a broad-spectrum UV filter mix that offers high-performance UVA and UVB protection. It is suitable for use in skin care applications, particularly anti-aging face care products and sunscreens. The INCI of this product is Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (and) Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, and it appears as a yellow solution. This liquid product is included in the UVA + UVB Filters product group and is delivered in liquid form.

BASF Vitamin E-Acetate Care is an active ingredient that is used in cosmetic products for skin and hair applications. It is an effective moisturizing agent that improves the elasticity and smoothness of the skin. Texapon® K-30 UP is an anionic surfactant that appears as a slightly yellow liquid to slightly pasty substance with a concentration of approximately 29%. It has the ability to generate a very high initial foam and does not contain any preservatives. It is commonly used in the formulation of shampoos, shower and bath preparations, and skin cleansers.

Cutina® PES builds up good viscosity and stability of an o/w emulsion with different emulsifier systems (ionic and non-ionic), while at the same time creating a non-waxy and caring skin feel. It comes in off-white, wax-like pellets with a little intrinsic odor, and the consistency of wax with sensorial properties. This product is ideally used for body care, face care, sensitive skin, and baby care applications.

Pluracare® L 64 G is a block copolymer of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol that is used as an emulsifier in a wide variety of areas, from cosmetics to oral care products. It has a cloud point of 58-62°C, an average molecular weight of approx. 2,900, and a viscosity of approx. 850 mPas. This block copolymer is anhydrous and non-corrosive. Therefore, mild steel can be used for storage tanks, piping and conventional process equipment.

Eumulgin® SG is a strong anionic, oil-in-water emulsifier that is effective in very low concentrations. It is easy to disperse and compatible with commonly used raw materials and electrolytes, including water-soluble UV filters. It is highly flexible and can be mixed into the oil phase or water phase in hot or cold process formulations. It is derived from 100% natural, renewable feedstocks and approved by COSMOS, NATRUE and ECOCERT, making it the emulsifier of choice for natural skincare and cosmetics.

There is a large market for gentle sun protection in various formats for babies, children, and consumers with sensitive skin.

Pluracare® F 127 NF Prill is a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide and has the general functionality of surfactants, emulsifiers, solubilizers and stabilizers in preparations where the quality of poloxamer may be required. This product has an average molecular weight of 12,600, a viscosity of 3,100 cP, and a pour/melt point of 56°C.

Cegesoft® C 24 is an emollient with medium spreadability suitable for a variety of skincare applications. It has a mean polarity with a mean molecular weight. Its applications include skin care, cleanser, sun care, hair care, hair color, bath and body products, personal care, men's body care, antiperspirants, and deodorants, face care, and self-tanning.

Dehyton® PK 45 is an amphoteric surfactant that is suitable for universal application in cosmetic and pharmaceutical surfactant preparations. When combined with anionic surfactants, synergistic effects are achieved, resulting in a dermatological improvement of the consumer product. Its application properties are comparable to those of conventional cocamidopropyl betaine types.

Cutina® EGMS is a white to slightly yellowish powder or pellets used as a pearlizing and opacifying agent in cleansing formulations, shampoos, shower and bath preparations, liquid soaps, and facial cleansing products. It is composed of Ethylene glycol monostearate and is suitable for applications such as baby care and cleansing, conditioning, face cleansing, shampoo, and shower/bath products.
