AFCONA-4720 demonstrates the following advantages:
- good compatibility across a broad range of binder systems including TPA’s and NC-based systems
- recommended for Auto OEM and VR coatings as well as other high performance systems
- performance in high jet black dispersions is excellent. Gives very good jetness to difficult high jet black pigments. Due to the specific anchoring group architecture, the product color is rather dark but this will not influence the final coating performance.
Note: AFCONA – 4720 will become slightly hazy at temperatures below 5° C. This will not affect the quality.

Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment:
- TiO2 : 2 -3%
- Other inorganic pigments : 2 -4%
- Organic pigments : 20 -40%
- Carbon blacks : 20 -60%

AFCONA-4720 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.

AFCONA-4720 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
