Product Properties

AFCONA-5210 helps to wet and disperse inorganic pigments, mainly TiO2 and extenders. AFCONA – 5210 is specially designed as an effective dispersant for TiO2 and is recommended for use in pure white systems. However, if the white base needs to be tinted with other colors later, AFCONA-4010 is a better choice. AFCONA – 5210 has the following special properties:

• AFCONA – 5210 has very good viscosity reduction properties. In high extender loaded systems, like UPE in artificial marble, AFCONA 5210 gives very strong viscosity reduction to allow for higher filler loading.
• Due to the effective viscosity reduction, this product also decreases dispersing time.
• AFCONA-5210 is especially suitable for the following coating systems: -Automotive (OEM and refinish) -General industrial -Coil coating -Acid curing -UPE -Epoxy -Polyurethane
• In electrostatic spraying systems for pure white paint, AFCONA – 5210 gives the highest gloss performance.

Note: AFCONA – 5210 is a solid paste at room temperature; it can easily be dissolved in solvents.

AFCONA-5210 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container.
