Mistron® ZSC is an off-white, high-purity, platy, fine talc that is surface treated for improved dispersion and hydrophobicity, as well as die lubrication in plastics and rubber applications. Additionally, it is used for microcellar foam nucleation in polymeric foams and for improving water resistance and electrical properties in wire and cable applications.

Artic Mist is an off-white, high-purity, extremely platy, very fine talc serving polymer, rubber, and coatings applications. Artic Mist® is recommended for excellent stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability, as well as improved impact strength and esthetics in high-performance plastics, plastic nucleation, foamed plastics, plastic films, and wire and cable applications.

Nicron® 353 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. The lamellar nature of Nicron® 353 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Nicron® 353 is also used for rheology and film reinforcement in adhesive, sealant, caulk, joint compound, wood putty, and auto body patch applications.

MistroFoam is a lower-brightness, high-purity, platy, fine talc that is surface treated for improved dispersion and hydrophobicity, as well as die lubrication in plastics and rubber applications. Nicron® 665 is an off-white, high-purity, platy, ultrafine talc. It is a highly effective gloss control additive in paints and coatings. Nicron® 665 could be used in performance plastics and plastic films for excellent nucleation and very good stiffness, HDT, dimensional stability, and esthetics.

Nicron® 660 is an off-white, platy, high-purity, very fine talc, which is primarily used in paints and coatings. Nicron® 660 has excellent flatting characteristics, superior anti-settling properties, and is the product of choice in gel-coats. Nicron® 660 is used in rubber, wire, cable, and plastic applications.

Nicron® 402 is a high-purity, 4-Hegman microcrystalline talc product with low oil adsorption and minimal viscosity build. Nicron® 402 is part of the Engineered Series of Imerys Talc products that have unique particle size distributions for improved paint performance properties. Nicron® 402 is an excellent choice for modern protective coating applications due to its hydrophobic nature, very low mineral solubility, and proven anti-corrosion performance. Nicron® 402 disperses easily in high-solids and solventborne coatings and gives very good paint stability, rheology, and anti-settling properties.

Mistron® Monomix is part of the micronized series of Magris Talc products that have a high surface area and tight top-size control for improved paint performance properties. This product has very good coating stability and anti-settling properties.
