- Nicron® 674DT is used in plastics applications, where its consistent quality and tight top particle size control improves the impact-to-stiffness ratio in polypropylene and automotive TPOs. It could also be used as an effective anti-block additive in thin gage polyolefin films, and efficient nucleation agent for semi-crystalline polymers such as PE, PP, POM, polyamides and polyesters.
- Nicron® 674DT has a volumetric bagged density of about 50 lbs/ft3, which minimizes air infiltration and allows significant increase in throughput during plastics processing and compounding operations. It also flows better than powder grades and disperses easier than compacted grades of micronized talc.
