- Nicron® 503 has demonstrated excellent weathering properties in both solvent-borne and waterborne paints. Nicron® 503 is recommended for sanding and flatting properties in clear and semi-transparent wood coatings and UV-cure coatings. Nicron® 503 is recommended for low-HAPS and VOC-compliant polyester coatings applications.
- Nicron® 503 could also be used in plastics to enhance stiffness, HDT and dimensional stability. In rubber, it reduces viscosity, improves processing and acts as a dusting/parting agent.
