Details

Surgical gowns and drapes are critical pieces of equipment in hospitals. They need to provide the medical staff and patients with a high level of protection against bacterial and viral infections. Research shows that 1 in 10 hospitalized patients will acquire an infection after admission. That is why infection control is a key topic. Arnitel® VT is a very flexible and breathable material that, when made into membranes just a few microns thick, is 100% waterproof, highly breathable and very comfortable. Arnitel VT is also lightweight and offers good stretch properties with its 500% elasticity. Gowns manufactured with the Arnitel® VT technology finally provide the surgeon with 100% protection against viruses and bacteria without loss of comfort.

Benefits

  • Arnitel® TPC allows for very sustainable solutions, since it is PFC free and 100% recyclable
  • Arnitel® TPC allows for very comfortable and reliable solutions due to its high breathability and 100% waterproof performance under all circumstances (unlike perforated membranes) and since it forms a 100% barrier against fluids, bacteria and even viruses.
Respiratory Tubes Application Data

Details

Respirator tubing is both used in monowall and in spiralized reinforced designs.

Benefits

  • Arnitel® has USP class VI and FDA approved grades available
  • Arnitel® offers a good combination of flexibility, strength and kink resistance
  • Arnitel® has high breathable grades available to prevent condensation inside the tube
