Arnitel® PB420

1 of 93 products in this brand
Arnitel® PB420 is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) that provides flexibility, high temperature resistance, and strength, along with excellent processing characteristics. It is increasingly used as a lighter, smarter, and greener alternative to conventional rubbers in industries such as automotive and E&E, reducing environmental impact and system costs. The material can be processed using blow molding technology.

Polymer Name: Thermoplastic Copolyester Elastomer (TPC-ET)

Processing Methods: Blow Molding

End Uses: Automotive Bellows, Automotive Boots

Density: 1180.0 - 1180.0 kg/m³

Strain at Break: 740.0 - 740.0 %

Details

Proven track record at various OEMs for more than 20 years with Arnitel® TPC for inboard and outboard boots, Steering Bellows and Prop Shaft Boots, CVJ and constand velocity joints.

Benefits

  • Arnitel® TPC allows for 20-40% lighter solutions than rubber and also more cost effective solutions than rubber
  • Arnitel® TPC allows for highly reliable solutions due to its high temperature resistance (more temperature resistance than TPV) and its good resistance against chemicals and greases
