- Typical Application
- TEGO® Surten W 111 improves the wetting properties of aqueous dispersions on difficult substrates and may therefore be used in a variety of applications of pressure sensitive adhesives in high dynamic processes.
- Formulation and application of polymer dispersions/ latices with fillers or pigments, e. g. paper coatings.
- Improves the wetting and spreading properties of aqueous media such as full synthetic and semi synthetic Metal Working Fluids (MWF). Additionally it provides excellent dispersing properties on finely ground aluminium swarf.
- In a multitude of other industrial applications where negative interaction between substrates and coatings has to be overcome.
- TEGO® Surten W 111 is used in pigment manufacturing processes as a TMP (Trimethylolpropane) replacement.
- Non-foaming surfactant for delabeling, demetallizing and deinking in the washing process of plastic recycling. Highly effective surfactant for use in, e.g., float-sink and washing processes of plastic recycling.
- Dosage
Depending on the application in question the required dosage may vary over a wide range (0.1% to 1.0%); suitable screening test are therefore recommended (initial dosage 0.3%).
- Handling and Processing
- TEGO® Surten W 111 may be added to the dispersion as delivered.
- Predilutions are possible and could be beneficial depending on the facilities.
