Recommended Uses & Known Applications
  • Chemical Processing - an intermediate for conversion to the sulfate ester used in high foaming cleaners.
  • Emulsifiers - useful as an emulsion stabilizer; an oil-soluble detergent and dispersant for use in petroleum oils; effective as a co-emulsifier in nonionic and nonionic-anionic surfactant blends.
  • Foam Control - in low concentrations a foam stabilizer, in higher concentrations, a defoamer in low defoaming systems.
