LOPON® DV is a white, crystalline powder that contains disodium phosphate and is designed to function as a corrosion inhibitor and afterglow suppressant for water-based paints. It is particularly effective as a corrosion inhibitor for emulsion paints and plasters. When binding iron ions, a recommended dosage of 5.0–7.5 mg of LOPON® DV per mg of iron is recommended.
