Terlon™ 1143 A alkyd is known for its excellent pigment wetting ability and fast hard-drying properties. This alkyd is an essential ingredient in many oil-based printing inks. Terlon 1143 A aids in development and maintenance of color strength with minimal bronzing and provides flow and leveling where required. Terlon 1143 A is an important formulating tool. Terlon 1143 A is also very compatible with most ink vehicles and serves to stabilize ink formulations. Metal decorating inks based on this alkyd bake very fast and form hard abrasion resistant, glossy surfaces
