METOLAT 367 is a non-ionic, silicone free wetting agent for water-based systems. It improves substrate wetting and leveling. METOLAT 367 is specifically suitable for systems in contact with food. The product is VOC free according to 2004/42/EC.

Dynamic surface tensions:

  • 0.1 % at 1 Hz: 47 mN/m
  • 0.1 % at 10 Hz: 63 mN/m
  • 0.5 % at 1 Hz: 29 mN/m
  • 0.5 % at 10 Hz: 53 mN/m
Recommended Levels and Use

METOLAT 367 is universally suitable for all common substrates. Normally a dosage of 0.1 to 2 % on finished product is sufficient. Ladder studies are recommended to determine the optimum level.

Storage and Handling

METOLAT 367 is not sensitive to freezing. For better handling it should be stored between 15 and 25 °C. Transport and storage below 15°C may lead to flocculation or solidification of the product. METOLAT 367 can be homogenized by stirring at temperatures above 20°C. The minimum shelf life in closed containers is 15 months from the date of manufacture.
