- White Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) is the fruit from an evergreen tree about 5-6 meters tall commonly, though they can reach up to 13-15 meters. The fruit is yellow-skinned when ripe and larger than a common orange. White Grapefruit oil is cold-pressed from the rind of the fruit. The aroma is sweet, tangy, citrusy and uplifting. The oil has a very high content of the highly valued limonene and is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. It has antioxidant, antiviral and antimicrobial properties, and is a good atrsingent.

- It is used widely in aromatherapy and perfumery. In aromatherapy the high monoterpene content of White Grapefruit is an outstanding choice in detoxifying blends.
