Products

SPP-25 is a low molecular weight polypropylene texturing agent. The SPP Series consists of polypropylene powders in a controlled range of particle sizes. These products are stir-in powders that can be easily dispersed under high-speed mixing in solvent, UV, or water-based inks & coatings.

AquaFLON® 50-RC is an aqueous dispersion of submicron polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and is produced to be in compliance with REACH regulatory requirements. The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. They are used as additives to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

Hydrocer 257 is a stable, non-ionic aqueous synthetic wax dispersion.

AquaFLON® 50 is an aqueous dispersion containing submicron PTFE. The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. These additives are used to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

FluoroSLIP® 421T is a blend of spherical synthetic wax and PTFE.

Versaflow EV is a liquid homopolymer for use as an alternative to silicone.

Shamrock SST-3 Tan is a micronized, tan PTFE powder.

S-396 N1 is a finely ground, crystalline grade of polyethylene wax with a high melt point and good solvent resistance.

SST®-2 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 8 µm. SST®-2 products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. FluoroSPERSE® 966 is a finely micronized polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersion in a petrolatum and soya alkyd drying oil. They assure good wetting, uniform composition, and avoid the handling of powder. They are available in a range of printing ink vehicles, solvents, and in combination with wax.

HydroCER 584 is a 35% aqueous dispersion of high molecular weight polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

HydroCER EC-36 is a 35% APEO-free carnauba wax emulsion in a stable anionic surfactant system. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

HydroCER 795 is a 52% aqueous dispersion of an oxidized polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

CeraSPERSE 31 is carnauba wax compounded in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

SST®-2P is an off-white to light gray low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 8 µm. NonSKID 59 is a micronized, modified polypropylene wax. Shamrock's NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces.

NonSKID 5389 is a micronized, modified polypropylene wax. Shamrock’s NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces. NonSKID 5389 is used in air dry, baked, and radiation coatings for aqueous, solvent, UV, and powder systems at 3-5% of total formula weight.

CeraSPERSE 171 is a synthetic wax compounded in refined linseed oil. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

HydroCER 8481 is a stable, non-ionic aqueous synthetic wax emulsion. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

Hydropel QB is a blend of paraffin and synthetic wax showing melting peaks ranging from 50 – 105°C.

SST®-2D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 7 µm. SST®-2D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles. SST® products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. TexMATTE 6014 is a cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate product. Shamrock’s Texture Series consists of polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and PMMA (Texture-W, SPP, FluoroTEX, TexMATTE) powders in a controlled range of particle sizes. These stir in powders provide a unique feel and texture allowing for customized surface finishes.

AquaFLON® 60 is a self-stable 60% Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersion in water. The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. S-381-N1 is a micronized synthetic and natural wax alloy that has a uniform melting range peaking at 91°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

S-395-SP5 is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 120°C, good crystallinity, and the high onset of melt. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

Neptune 1-N1 is a medium MW synthetic wax treated to provide water wettability. Neptune 1-N1 is used in water-based inks and coatings. Neptune 1-N1 is used in both air dry and baked coatings.

S-394-N1 is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C and good onset of melting. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes

Hydrocer D-336 is a blend of an anionic aqueous paraffin wax emulsion and synthetic wax that has been oxidized to provide water wettablility.

TexMATTE 6030 is a cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate product.
