Products

SPP-25 is a low molecular weight polypropylene texturing agent. The SPP Series consists of polypropylene powders in a controlled range of particle sizes. These products are stir-in powders that can be easily dispersed under high-speed mixing in solvent, UV, or water-based inks & coatings.

AquaFLON® 50-RC is an aqueous dispersion of submicron polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and is produced to be in compliance with REACH regulatory requirements. The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. They are used as additives to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

AquaFLON® 50 is an aqueous dispersion containing submicron PTFE. The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. These additives are used to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

FluoroSLIP® 421T is a blend of spherical synthetic wax and PTFE.

SST®-2 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 8 µm. SST®-2 products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to produce slip, nonstick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

HydroCER 584 is a 35% aqueous dispersion of high molecular weight polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

HydroCER 795 is a 52% aqueous dispersion of an oxidized polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

CeraSPERSE 31 is carnauba wax compounded in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

SST®-2P is an off-white to light gray low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 8 µm. NonSKID 59 is a micronized, modified polypropylene wax. Shamrock's NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces.

NonSKID 5389 is a micronized, modified polypropylene wax. Shamrock’s NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces. NonSKID 5389 is used in air dry, baked, and radiation coatings for aqueous, solvent, UV, and powder systems at 3-5% of total formula weight.

HydroCER 8481 is a stable, non-ionic aqueous synthetic wax emulsion. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

SST®-2D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 7 µm. SST®-2D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles. S-381-N1 is a micronized synthetic and natural wax alloy that has a uniform melting range peaking at 91°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

S-395-SP5 is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 120°C, good crystallinity, and the high onset of melt. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

Neptune 1-N1 is a medium MW synthetic wax treated to provide water wettability. Neptune 1-N1 is used in water-based inks and coatings. Neptune 1-N1 is used in both air dry and baked coatings.

Hydrocer D-336 is a blend of an anionic aqueous paraffin wax emulsion and synthetic wax that has been oxidized to provide water wettablility.

Neptune 250SD is a finely micronized spherical oxidized polyethylene wax. Neptune 250-SD is recommended for use in liquid ink and coating formulations, including water-based, solvent-based, and UV systems for packaging and gravure inks, general industrial, furniture and floor coatings.

NonSKID 8001 is a combination of micronized polypropylene and PTFE. Shamrock’s NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces.

S-156 is a micronized modified polyethylene wax powder used to provide rub, abrasion, and mar resistance with matting effect. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

S-395-N2 is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 120°C, good crystallinity and high onset of melt. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. S-379-H is a synthetic wax with a DSC peak melt around 100°C and corresponding low onset of melting. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

AquaFLON® 52 is a nonionic aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. HydroCER 7410 is a 45% aqueous dispersion of medium molecular weight polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

LoAngle 5413 is a synthetic wax showing multiple melting peaks ranging from 107 – 142°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

S-483 is a spherical synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. It has good onset of melting and low crystallinity. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance.
