AraTAs® Vegan Varnishes is to complement our polishing systems we now offer zein based varnishes and products. Zein offers a clean label replacement for shellac and can be used for coating, encapsulation, creating an enteric barrier, timed release and increased shelf-life. As an all-natural corn protein film, zein will preserve the flavor, freshness and color, act as moisture, oxygen and microbial barrier and perform as a natural adhesive to attach salt or flavors.
