Charmax™ LS Z20A is a cost efficient molybdenum based smoke suppressant synergist for PVC applications. Charmax™ LS Z20A is specifically designed to reduce smoke in halogenated and other polymers including PVC wire & cable and rigid sheet profiles.

Kimteks' Phthalate-free DOTP plasticizer has high plasticizing effect. It is generally used with materials like P. V. C in order to plasticise, after being heated to a doughy or plasticised state, to obtain elasticity, brightness for plastic material, generate electrical resistance, to prevent cracking and make surface smooth.

THERMODAN® CP 0110-110 BK is a black, UV resistant, lead free, RoHS compliant, thermoplastic CPE compound. It is designed for use in a wide variety of jacketing applications including wire and cable and tube bundles. This compound has superior fire performance including slow flame propagation and self-extinguishing characteristics. THERMODAN® CP 0110-110 BK should be extruded with a screw configuration designed to optimize process conditions and throughput. This extrusion compound meets or exceeds several industry jacketing specifications including UL 1277 tray cable.

Linear styrene-butadiene thermoplastic elastomer DST L 30-01 is essentially a product of styrene and butadiene block polymerization in hydrocarbon solution in the presence of alkyllithium catalyst. DST L 30-01 is dusted with calcium stearate or amorphous silica. It is containing a no staining stabilizer.

Flamtard V grades are inorganic silicate based flame retardant synergists, chemically modified to control the glass transition temperatures over which they soften (470-500 °C). Above this they convert into a highly viscous molten state in which they can help to reduce the creation and propagation of micro cracks in char formation during polymer combustion. Flamtard V can also improve adhesion of metal oxide residues and oxidized organic materials, leading to mechanically stronger chars. Flamtard V can be used in mica filled silicon based security cables, flame retardant intumescent PVC and PUR materials for the building and construction industry, polyamides and polyolefins. For other polymers, check the potential stability with TGA first. This proven replacement for antimony trioxide can be used alone or in conjunction with other materials in the Flamtard range.

TP812 is capable of meeting the flame retardant requirements of UL 1666, UL 1685, IEEE 1202, FT-4 in specific fiber optic constructions. It is also recognized as halogen free under UL 2885. It can be extruded using PVC extruders and screws. It possesses excellent tensile and flame retardant properties and meets the requirements of limited toxic and corrosive fume emission

PEXIDAN® SX523 pre-grafted black base is mixed with crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497 in the ratio 95:5. This system is carbon loaded, with high UV stabilization, and has been developed especially for usage on overhead power cables insulation according NFC 33-209, “Câble Torsadé”. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

Synthetic styrene-butadiene rubber is obtained by low-temperature emulsion copolymerisation of butadiene with styrene and filled with petroleum-based softeners.

Synthetic cis-butadiene rubber SIBUR BR-1245 is a product of polymerization of butadiene in solution in the presence of neodymium catalyst; 1,4-cis — at least 97%; polydispersity — no more 2.5. The polymer is stabilized by non- staining antioxidant and contains no nitrosamines or substances that may be a source of nitrosamines.

Micro Fine Cell foaming agents were developed specifically to produce a Micro Fine Cellular structure with the uniform distribution the cells on a consistent basis throughout the production cycle. Micro Fine Cell foaming agents are available as Endothermic or Exothermic foaming agents pelletized in the iDPel carrier compound.

Santicizer® Platinum P-330 is a non-phthalate, primary plasticizer with high performing product characteristics meant to outperform existing general purpose plasticizing alternatives. This plasticizer has some high solvating character to boost compatibility and plasticizing efficiency in multiple polymer systems. This product is highly recommended for PVC application where fast fusing would be a benefit.

The copolymer is stabllized with antioxidant of amine type and filled with oil SRAE [CAS #64741-88-4] with PAHs controlled content.

THERMODAN® HF TP 543CBT has been developed specially to comply with the requirements of BS7655- 6.1 for types LTS1, 3 and 4; EN 50290-2-27 and HD 604 for type HM2 and HD 604 for type HM4. Cables made with TP543C have complied with IEC 60332, part 22, 23 & 24 – 1 and 3 fire tests.

PEXIDAN® SX505NT pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497, in the ratio 95:5. The SX505NT:CM493 or SX505NT:CM497 systems have passed type-tests for use up to and including 36 kV. The graft compound contains a non-staining stabilizer and an effective tree retarder, giving outstanding long term retention of dielectric strength. This compound is typically used in conjunction with crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.
