SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL™ PKN4752 resin is a non-reinforced, translucent, high heat blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + general purpose polystyrene (GPPS). This extrudable and injection moldable grade exhibits high heat resistance, dimensional stability, and appears translucent with a yellow tint in the natural color. SABIC's Specialties Business High heat resistant polycarbonate copolymer, provides DTUL of 300F at 264 psi. FDA food contact compliant in limited colors. Effective January 15th, 2008 this grade will no longer be supported with biocompatibility information and should not be used for medical applications which require biocompatibility. Features are excellent mechanical, electrical and dimensional properties up to high temperatures. The material may offer very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material and is inherently flame retardant. The material is RoHS compliant. The material is available in opaque and transparent colors.

The material is RoHS compliant. The base material is transparent amber colored but is also available in custom colors - transparent and opaque. This product is not certified per food contact regulations in US + EUR. Certification would be dependent on end-part testing. LNP THERMOCOMP AX04518 compound is based on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) resin containing 20% glass fiber.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM 2300F resin is a standard flow, 30% glass fiber reinforced polyetherimide resin. The material has global food contact approvals (FDA, CN, EC) and for selected colors it has NSF-51 certification. The material is RoHS compliant and is intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers. It offers UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings. The material can also offer excellent dimension stability, strength, stiffness and creep resistance up to high temperature due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. The material is opaque and can be custom colored. Added features included PCR content and improved processing. This grade contains minimum 56% PCR weight content and is based on food contact compliant ingredients. Applications include Food handling, cosmetic packaging, razor blades, toothbrushes, etc.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 1010UCL is an amorphous, transparent polyetherimide (PEI) thermoplastic offering enhanced flow and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. 1010UCL offers the same performance as ULTEM 1010 resin and offers further enhanced cleanliness control for (optical) applications. The natural (uncolored) version of this grade is compliant with RoHS and also with Halogen Free standards as IEC 61249-2-21 and e.g. IPC 4101E. For colored versions, compliance needs to be checked case by case.

SABIC's Specialties Business LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ WF006XXL compound is based on Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) resin containing 30% glass fiber. Added features of this grade include: Good Mold Release, Heat Stabilized, Low Extractables.

ULTEM™ Resin 4001 is a PTFE filled, standard flow Polyetherimide (Tg 217C). ECO Conforming, UL94 V0 and 5VA listing.
