SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM 1000F Resin is an unreinforced amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) resin that may offer a high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C and global food compliance (FDA, CN, EC). Features are excellent mechanical, electrical and dimensional properties up to high temperatures. The material provides low staining, microwave transparent and cold to the touch solutions. The material may offer very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material and is inherently flame retardant offering UL94 V0 and 5V ratings. The material is RoHS compliant. The base material is transparent amber colored but is also available in custom colors - transparent and opaque. SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL™ 6390C resin concentrate is an non-reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + general purpose polystyrene (GPPS). This material is in granule form and optimized for blending with polystyrene resins. NORYL™ 6390C resin may be an excellent candidate in microwavable food packaging applications and is compliant with US and European food contact regulations. SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 1010UCL is an amorphous, transparent polyetherimide (PEI) thermoplastic offering enhanced flow and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. 1010UCL offers the same performance as ULTEM 1010 resin and offers further enhanced cleanliness control for (optical) applications. The natural (uncolored) version of this grade is compliant with RoHS and also with Halogen Free standards as IEC 61249-2-21 and e.g. IPC 4101E. For colored versions, compliance needs to be checked case by case.

The material is RoHS compliant and is intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers. It offers UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings. The material can also offer excellent dimension stability, strength, stiffness and creep resistance up to high temperature due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. The material is opaque and can be custom colored. VINNEX® 2504 is a vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer powder known for its soft and flexible nature, which is a result of its relatively high ethylene content. The resin has a glass transition temperature below the freezing point. Typical applications for VINNEX® 2504 include blending with natural fibers or flours like wood, starch, and cork. It is highly recommended for modifying biopolymers and their compounds.

It is commonly used for modifying biopolymers and biopolymer compounds, as well as for blending with natural fibers or flours like wood, starch, and cork.

VINNEX® 8803 is an innovative compound made from a vinyl acetate/vinyl laurate copolymer and polyvinyl acetate. It is a colorless, tasteless, and odorless thermoplastic resin that comes in a dosable form and can be easily melted. This product is specifically recommended as a highly efficient, low-profile additive for fiber-reinforced composites and polymer concrete-type applications. It also demonstrates excellent compatibility with biopolyesters such as PLA.

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL PKN4775F resin is a non-reinforced, opaque blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + polystyrene (PS) and is FDA food compliant in several colors. This high heat, thin wall extrusion and injection moldable grade is an improved version of NORYL PKN4775F resin and exhibits modulus at elevated temperature and good chemical resistance.
