DOWSIL(TM) FA 4002 ID Silicone Acrylate is a film former designed for long lasting benefits in color cosmetics and skin care applications. It exhibits good compatibility with organic sunscreens, pigments and cosmetic ingredients. It provides sebum resistance, wash off resistance as well as comfort to wear. 

DOWSIL(TM) 3901 Liquid Satin Blend is a mixture of a high molecular weight polymer in dimethicone. This product is a film former as well as a sensory and texture enhancer. It has benefits for hair conditioning, hair protection, and combing in hair care applications, and moisturization and sun protection in skin care applications.

DOWSIL(TM) HMW 2220 Non-Ionic Emulsion has been designed as a unique way of incorporating high (> 120 x 106 mm²/s) viscosity silicone polymer into water based systems. DOWSIL(TM) HMW 2220 offers a rich feel, wash-off resistance, and film barrier properties in skin care applications; it provides a superior foam profile and skin feel in body washes; it also provides smoothness, detangling, enhanced fragranced intensity in hair care. XIAMETER(TM) PMX-1413 Fluid is an ultra-high viscosity dimethicone delivered in a low viscosity dimethicone carrier fluid. In hair applications it provides smoothness, slipperiness, and heat protection. In skin care applications this product provides film barrier properties with a long lasting lubricious and velvety skin feel.

CELLOSIZE(TM) Texture E50 Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose is a methoxy- and hydroxypropyl-substituted cellulosic polymer that is supplied as white powders. The ratio of methoxy to hydroxypropyl largely determines the properties of the different product grades. This thickener is an excellent rheology modifier, binder, film former, and water-retention agent. It yields a viscosity of 50 cP at low addition levels.

ACULYN(TM) 88 Rheology Modifier is an anionic, hydrophobically modified, alkali-soluble acrylic polymer emulsion (HASE) that is lightly crosslinked with unusually high aqueous thickening and stabilizing efficiency. This thickener is a liquid, cold-processable product that instantaneously thickens upon neutralization, providing ease of handling and increased manufacturing efficiency. This product is offered at 29% solids and is compatible with high levels of surfactants. The polymer has a well-established toxicological profile and is safe in normal use.

DOWSIL(TM) FA 4003 DM Silicone Acrylate is a blend of approximately 40% of acrylates/polytrimethylsiloxy-methacrylate copolymer in 2 cSt polydimethylsiloxane. After the polydimethylsiloxane evaporates, the high-molecular-weight silicone acrylate copolymer forms a film on the skin, providing long-lasting cosmetic wear, an SPF boost, and comfort to wear.

This product is cold water dispersible, compatible with a wide range of surfactants, offers excellent electrolyte tolerance, and makes clear solutions in water.

EPITEX(TM) 66 Polymer is a film former that provides outstanding water resistance, improved feel on skin and ease of processing in a variety of formulation types, including O/W, W/O and W/S formulations. Compatible with other typical sunscreen ingredients, and suitable for use in creams, lotions and pump sprays.

DOWSIL(TM) 580 Wax is a soft, solid mixture of stearyl alcohol and stearoxytrimethylsilane. The cosmetic properties of this wax are a result of the silicone moiety. The inclusion of the stearoxy group involves compatibility with organic ingredients. Hair care and skin care products benefit from the property of this wax to facilitate the formation of a very thin film that is neither oily, tacky, nor too dry.

XIAMETER(TM) PMX-1403 Fluid is a clear solution of ultra-high viscosity dimethiconol fluid in a low-viscosity dimethicone fluid. This product is suitable for vegans as it does not contain ingredients of animal origin. It is a silicone gum blend designed for hair care. It has a wide range of applications, including hand and body lotions, protective creams, color cosmetics, shower gels, sun creams and lotions, and moisturizing creams and lotions.

This product has the properties of a polydimethylsiloxane fluid with a moderately high viscosity but with superior water repellency.

Oilkemia™ 5S polymer is a multifunctional oil-soluble rheology modifier. It imparts thickening, clarity, and suspension properties to a wide range of oils and oil mixtures, including vegetable-based oils, triglycerides, esters, and organic UV filters. Oilkemia™ 5S polymer is typically supplied as 30% solids in caprylic and capric triglycerides.
