ELASTOSIL® R Plus 4305/70 is a two-component, high-consistency silicone rubber specifically developed for the manufacture of extruded articles. Cured articles made from this addition-curing rubber exhibit excellent transparency and demonstrate good to very good mechanical properties. This fast-curing silicone rubber displays good to very good mechanical properties. The vulcanization reaction is significantly faster compared to peroxide-curing materials, thanks to the addition cure process. Additionally, no peroxide decomposition products are formed during vulcanization.
