In August of 1990, the company started operations in the greater Montreal area as a federally incorporated Canadian company under the name of Stephasco Lab Inc. At its humble beginnings, operations consisted in the distribution of cleaning chemicals sold to institutional, industrial as well as municipal and provincial governments. In 2001, to take advantage of economies of scale, a significant part of the company was purchased by Chemisphere Inc. In recent years, as the company became more involved in inorganic water treatment chemicals, its name was changed to Aquasphere Coagulants Inc. to better reflect its operations. "Revol Limited is an independent manufacturer of speciality industrial lubricants producing a wide range of products primarily comprising of greases, colloidal dispersions and oils.
