This compound is supplied in round pelletized form, with pellets ranging in size from approximately 350 - 800 microns. Wollastonite fibers are added to PTFE to improve its wear properties, abrasion resistance, compressive strength, and creep resistance, without sacrificing the chemical and thermal resistance of the polymer.
