    Application

    Albakoll B is a specific fining agent for white wines that need clarification but also a stabilization action against casses and oxidation risks. Its activity is able to:

    • remove turbidity and haze to obtain a bright wine;
    • improve the wine hue and reduce the oxidable polyphenols that can cause instability;
    • improve wine filterability;
    • reduce proteins;
    • sharpness reduction.

    The clarification is very rapid (24-48 hours) and results in very compact sediments

    Instructions for Use
    • Dissolve the product in water (1:10 - 1:20) some hours before use. Add it to the wine to be treated, very slowly stirring well.
    • The treated wine should be checked for protein stability and may not need further bentonite fining.
    Dosage
    • From 400-800 ppm (40 to 80 g/hl), up to 1000 –1200 ppm (100-120 g/hl) in case of particularly difficult wines.
