AFCONA-5504S is a multi-functional additives, that can help wet out difficult or contaminated substrates, lower the surface tension of the coating system, improving pigment grind efficiency, and prevent surface defects such as fisheyes, edge crawl, and craters. In addition, it has great defoaming properties, and due to its hydrophobic nature, reduces water sensitivity of the final system. AFCONA – 5504S is suitable for the following applications:
- Automotive (OEM and refinish)
- General industrial coatings

Note: AFCONA – 5504S is a 100% solid waxy material at RT. Heating the product at 50-70C will make it pourable within one hour.

AFCONA-5504S should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
