- AFCONA-2021 offers good compatibility with most resin systems. However, in systems where in-can clarity and dry film transparency are important, the silicone-free defoamer AFCONA 2018 is a better choice.
- AFCONA-2021 is primarily used in wood coating systems, where it offers good defoaming and acceptable in-can haziness.
AFCONA-2021 can be used in:
- polyurethane coatings for wood.
- acid-cured coatings for wood
- air-drying alkyd paints for decorative and protective coatings
- heat-cured systems for industrial application
- NC lacquers for wood, general industrial and car refinish.

- AFCONA-2021 can be incorporated prior to processing. If added subsequently, good dispersion must be ensured.
- Addition and Dosage
- 0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 0.30 - 0.50% based on total formulation is a sufficient dosage.

- AFCONA - 2021 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container.
