AFCONA 4550 is a polymeric dispersant used for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments in water-based systems. Its high molecular weight and pH-independent nature provide good stability performance with all types of pigments. IMSIL® A-10 is a microcrystalline silica filler that is produced from an inert, naturally occurring alpha quartz with a unique grape-like morphology. Easily wetted and dispersed in either solvent or water-based systems, IMSIL® is selected for its excellent tint retention, durability over prolonged exposure, and resistance to dirt and weathering.

Vertal® 503 is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment that provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), film reinforcement, anti-cracking, and barrier properties to architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 503 is especially suited for waterborne paints and primers where a 5-Hegman, low oil-adsorption, platy mineral pigment is required.

Nicron® 403 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. The lamellar nature of Nicron® 403 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers and topcoats to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Nicron® 403 is also used in paints to improve sag resistance and maximize prime pigment extension. Nicron® 403 is used in solid-color and semi-transparent wood stains to prevent tannin bleed and improve gloss uniformity without introducing abrasive characteristics.

AFCONA 1503 is a universal dispersing resin for preparation of VOC-free universal pigment concentrates for water based. It is a dispersing resin with self-emulsifying properties. AFCONA 1503 in combination with AFCONA 4560 has been developed to be considered suitable for the production of VOC-free pigment concentrates.

DeCAL 5030 is designed to release bubbles and control foam generated in a wide range of aqueous systems containing surfactants. It is a blend of non-ionic surfactants and hydrophobes in a highly refined mineral oil and is non-silicone based. It is used in many applications including water-based paints, adhesives, carpet backing, paper coating, and effluent treatment.

Crys-Talc® 4H-4HC is a high-purity, high-brightness, platy, medium-sized talc used in interior and exterior coating, adhesive, and sealant formulations to reduce hard settling, improve sag resistance, and maximize prime pigment extension. Crys-Talc® 4H is used in solid-color and semitransparent wood stains to prevent tannin bleed and improve gloss uniformity without introducing abrasive characteristics. Crys-Talc® 4H has a platy, hydrophobic structure used in  architectural and industrial primers to improve barrier properties which impart corrosion resistance and stain blocking  ability.

AFCONA 2021 is a silicone-free defoamer with balanced performance for compatibility and defoaming, ideal for use in various coating systems. It can prevent air entrapment during stirring and pumping, and is especially suited for solvent-based coatings where foam formation is an issue when spraying or brushing.

TYTAN™ CX100 is a chelated Titanium Alkanolamine Complex developed as a rheology modifier for emulsion paints. TYTAN™ CX100 reacts with colloid stabilized binders to impart a thixotropic structure to the paint through shear sensitive hydrogen bonding. TYTAN™ CX100 has no to little effect on the rheology of emulsion paints based on surfactant stabilized binders. Use of TYTAN™ CX100 shall always be based on sample testing to evaluate potential interaction with other components or additives of the paint formulation.

Syntran® AC 9073 is based on Interpolymer Corporation's proprietary self-crosslinking technology. This technology combines two distinct crosslinking mechanisms on the same polymer backbone, significantly increasing chemical, stain, and water resistance. This technology was designed for the self-crosslinking mechanism to fully cure at room temperature while maintaining long-term shelf stability.

AFCONA 5207 is a very economical dispersant with good pigment stabilizing performance. It functions as a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based architectural and decorative paints, also a very suitable dispersant for printing ink. It will stabilize most of the pigments that are commonly used in these systems.

AFCONA 6220 is a fatty acid modified emulsifier for universal colorants and improved color acceptance. It is able to stabilize inorganic and organic pigments in water and solvent systems. In addition, it improves the compatibility of the polar ingredients of universal colorants when used in non-polar solvent-based paints.

Artic Mist is an off-white, high-purity, extremely platy, very fine talc serving polymer, rubber, and coatings applications. Artic Mist® is recommended for excellent stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability, as well as improved impact strength and esthetics in high-performance plastics, plastic nucleation, foamed plastics, plastic films, and wire and cable applications.

AFCONA 2503 is a waterbased defoamer and anti-foam agent with leveling properties that is especially useful in high shear applications such as pigment concentrates. AFCONA 2503 is an organically modified polysiloxane which is designed to give good defoaming, anti-foam and leveling performance in all waterbased applications.

AFCONA 6225 is a dispersant and emulsifier for universal colorants, color acceptance additive. AFCONA 6225 is an updated version of AFCONA 6220. AFCONA 5209 is an anionic/cationic wetting and dispersing additive used to improve the wetting of pigment surfaces. AFCONA 5209 is the 100% version of AFCONA 5009. It reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. It stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.

Sibelco Semi-Dry is composed of more than 95% kaolin (aluminum silicate), along with quartz, titanium dioxide, mica (muscovite), and cristobalite. It is a white/cream colored powder that gets fully oxidized without burning. This product has various commercial and industrial uses.
