Because AFCONA-2270 is a strong defoamer that may cause in-can haziness, we recommend using it for pigmented as well as semi-gloss systems. It will not influence the gloss of the finished paint.

- To prevent foaming, AFCONA-2270 may be added prior to processing. If it is added to the finished product, care must be taken to ensure uniform distribution.
- Addition and Dosage
- 0.1 - 0.7% on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 0.2 - 0.5% based on total formulation is sufficient.
