JetFil® T290 is used in commodity plastics applications, especially in polypropylene, where maximum reinforcement can be achieved at loadings as high as 20% to 40% while also achieving good long-term thermal stability (heat aging).
JetFil® T290 is also used in wood plastic composites (WPC), where it:
- increases modulus of elasticity, modulus of rupture, and HDT,
- reduces water diffusion, weight gain and swell in water, loss of elasticity and rupture modulus in moist environment,
- improves warpage, creep and elastic recovery,
- improves processing efficiency.
