It enhances bonding between inorganic substrates and organic polymers, particularly in fiberglass-reinforced composites. It improves filler wetting, dispersibility, and the physical and electrical properties of both thermoset and thermoplastic composites.

It is used in penetrating sealers to protect substrates such as brick, stone, masonry, wood, and concrete. It enhances durability and weather resistance and improves the compatibility and dispersibility of fillers and pigments in coatings, sealants, and adhesives by modifying particulate surfaces to be more hydrophobic and organic-like.

SYNTHALAT A-TS 1558 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin. It is recommended to use a physically drying sole binder, mainly for plastic and metal substrates with fast drying and good gasoline resistance. It has applications in architectural coatings, automotive OEM coatings, metal coatings, Craft and hobby, and other consumer goods applications.

SYNTHALAT A-TS 3277 is a polyisocyanate-curing acrylic resin. It is supplied as 60% in Shellsol A. It is known for its better weathering resistance. It has applications in metal coatings, marine transportation, industrial coatings, industrial maintenance, automotive OEM coatings, and marine coatings.

SYNTHALAT A-TS 3737 is a hydroxyfunctional acrylic resin. It is recommended to use it in combination with (cyclo-) aliphatic polyisocyanates for air- and forced-drying 2-pack coatings with high abrasion-, chemical-, and weather-resistance for general industrial coatings. It has applications in marine coatings, metal coatings, industrial maintenance, marine transpostation, and industrial coatings.

SYNTHALAT W 46 is a water-dilutable, specially modified alkyd resin. This is recommended for water-dilutable priming and top coat paints with good drying, as well as fast initial water resistance. It has applications in metal coatings, marine coatings, industrial coatings, and maintenance.

SYNTHALAT A 077 is a polyisocyanate-curing acrylic resin. Used in 2-pack coatings, in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates, for industrial coatings that offer good mechanical properties along with resistance to chemical attack. It has applications in marine transportation, rail and mass transit coatings, coatings and markings, and also in infrastructure road paving.

SYNTHALAT A 1633 is an acrylic resin cross-linked with polyisocyanate. It is used in combination with aromatic and aliphatic polyisocyanates for fast-drying 2-component polyurethane coatings, particularly for coating furniture. It is a fast-drying polymethacrylate that permits the manufacture of very quick-drying 2-component coating systems. These coatings are suitable for industrial furniture coatings and other wood coatings. It has applications in wood flooring, metal coatings, furniture coatings, and other printing applications.

SYNTHALAT SF 653 is a long-oil-drying alkyd resin. It is a high-grade decorative and architectural paint with particularly fast drying capacity and anti-corrosive properties. It is used advantageously in house paints and architectural paints that are characterized by good brushability, exceptional drying capacity, and gloss. It has applications in decorative paints, coatings and stains, crafts and hobbies, wood coatings, and finishes.
