MM-220 is a low viscosity mono-acrylate monomer. The polycyclic ring structure helps minimize shrinkage on cure. It also has low weight loss on cure. 

Designer Molecules BMI-1700 is an amorphous, low molecular weight bismaleimide oligomer that exhibits good adhesion to a variety of substrates. It can be homo-cured via UV or free radical initiators to form tough, hydrophobic, cross-linked polyimides. The material has excellent low pH hydrolytic resistance and thermal stability. The amorphous nature of this imide-extended BMI allows it to form room-temperature-stable solutions in a variety of free radical reactive diluents. It is soluble in most aromatic and aliphatic solvents such as toluene, xylene, NMP, etc.

MM-290 is a liquid mono-functional acrylate monomer. It has similar properties as Isobornyl Acrylate (IBOA) when polymerized but with lower weight loss on cure. It has a mild, pleasant odor. MM-290 has good resistance to hydrolysis.

MM-204 is a mono-functional acrylate monomer. It has low shrinkage and a high glass transition temperature upon cure. The secondary ester linkage is resistant to hydrolysis.

MM-304 is a liquid mono-functional methacrylate monomer. It has similar properties as Isobornyl Methacrylate (IBOMA) when polymerized but with lower weight loss on cure. It has a mild, pleasant odor. MM-304 has good resistance to hydrolysis.

Designer Molecules Peam-1044 is a polyester acrylate/methacrylate that exhibits excellent adhesion, low warpage, and hydrophobicity. The oligomer has very high thermal stability and low volatility. It can be used as a base resin in a formulation or an additive.

Designer Molecules PEM-665 is a methacrylate terminated polyester oligomer that has low color and low cure shrinkage. The backbone of this product consists of a statistical distribution of low molecular weight polyester segments. A representative structure is shown above. The cycloaliphatic dibasic ester residues as well as the methacrylate end-groups resist hydrolysis. This oligomer has approximately 33% less cure shrinkage than BisGMA at 100% conversion. Unlike BisGMA, it is not based upon a bisphenol A backbone and therefore does not have the potential to act as an endocrine disruptor.

Designer Molecules Peam-645 is a polyester acrylate/methacrylate that exhibits low CTE, high Tg, and high modulus. The oligomer has very high thermal stability and low volatility. It can be used as a base resin in a formulation or as an additive. It exhibits good adhesion on various substrates. The oligomer also exhibits good hydrolytic stability. .

EC-861 is a phenyl acetate epoxy curative. When cured with an epoxy, the resulting thermoset displays a high level of toughness and flexibility. The monomer is hydrophobic by nature and results in more hydrophobic thermosets. The low viscosity (which can result in lower viscosity in final products) makes it an ideal monomer to formulate in epoxy resin systems. The phenyl acetate end group, unlike phenolics, does not interfere with free-radical cure in hybrid adhesive systems.

Designer Molecules BMI-5000 Toluene is an imide-extended bismaleimide oligomer that exhibits excellent toughness in the cured state with an intermediate cross-link density. It is soluble in aromatic solvents. It is an amber, waxy solid at room temperature and can be cast as a hot melt or from solution to form pliable, non-tacky films. This maleimide functional oligomer can be cured thermally, via UV irradiation, or in the presence of free-radical initiators to form a tough thermoset. BMI-5000 is supplied as a 50% solids solution in toluene. The material can also be supplied as a solid slab, powdered solid or in alternative solvents.
