Ebalta GM 900-1 / Comp. A+B is a very soft-elastic polyurea casting compound. ebalta GM 900-1 is suitable as a flexible casting system in the field of mold- and tooling for parts which require low shore hardness and high tear propgation resistance due to deep under cuts. Mold temperatures of about 60 °C lead and/or curing at 60°C, to faster curing and therefore short demoulding time. Demoulding can be reduced to 30-40 min

Ebalta MG 453 GF is processed on a two-component low pressure device. After grinding with a sand paper , grit 280, the surface can be varnished with a commercial lacquer. For better adhesion we recommend the use of a primer coat. Release agent – please see category release agent

ebalta AH 120/ TL-1 is a very thin liquid epoxy resin with high values of strength and dimensional stability. Due to its good impregnating and wetting properties it is suitable as laminating resin for high-strength components with fabrics of glass –or carbon fiber. ebalta AH 120/ TL-1 is suitable for laminating of thin as well as thick laminates with large surface up to a thickness of 10 mm. Mechnical properties basing on test pieces being postcured for 8 hrs. at 80°C Demoulding depending on layer thickness, geometry and room temperature. Check for individual case. Postcuring before demoulding of laminates, if possible.

GM 708 is a high-quality, almost odorless 2-components-polyurethane casting compound without any filler. The filler will only be added when mixing both components. The long potlife of more than 45 min makes it possible to cast big-volume parts. Depending on the application, different dry fillers can be used. To get optimum properties, especially low shrinkage, we recommend a high filler content.

Ebalta MG 703 / Z 400 is a 2-components polyurethane material, which is cured thermically and used for prototypes. The four mentioned formulations differ in being filled or non-filled and their mechanical properties. The B-components Z 400 (potlife 8-12 min.) and Z 460 (potlife 60-70 min.) are identical and can be mixed with each other to control the reactivity, e.g. potlife. These combinations of Z 400 and Z 460 comp. B can be made any way as long as the totally required quantity of comp. B is observed (for each system).

Ebalta AH 100 is a very thin, unfilled epoxy resin, which can be used with different hardeners. Depending on the application the suitable hardener can be mixed with the resin AH 100. This resin/hardener-mixture is inexpensive and therefore suitable as binder for silica sand auxiliary negatives.

ebalta SG 150 is a four component acryl casting resin. It consists of 2 liquid components and a hardener powder. Both liquid components are filled with the 1,5 amount in ppw of special aluminum powder. The resin cures within 20-30 minutes to well heat-conducting, heat-resistant molds. The cured molds are very well workable by machines. The structure is extremely dense and the machined areas have an aluminum-like appearance. It is possible to cast any quantity, which can be mixed in one or more containers. Altercating or casting in layers is not possible. Therefore it is very important to determine the casting volume exactly in order to avoid that the mixed quantity is too small. Since the hardener powder is hygroscopic, always seal it air-tight. We recommend to sieve it before each use. Linear shrinkage as per mixture listed in the data sheet. Room temperature and starting temperature of resin components are 21°C as per measurement. For other temperatures or a different content of aluminum powder, shrinkage might also be different.

This product is a polyurethane system. No load on GM 965-40 before 24 hrs. curing at room temperature (23°C) If the product is cured at room temperature, no entire chemical and mechanical load before 7 days after curing. The product can be subject to color variations due to raw materials, but these color variations have no influence on the quality and the properties of the product.

ebalta GH 730/BR is a quite versatile two-components epoxy resin with good castability, curing at room temperature. Due to its easy workability as well as its high strength and low shrinkage there’s a big variety of applications as mouldmaking, toolmaking and in foundries. Moreover the high impact resistance and cast thickness of more than 30 mm make even more applications possible.

Ebalta AH 110 / TGL is an unfilled epoxy resin with high strength values and dimensional stability, even at increased temperature. It can be used as casting resin with powdered fillers as aluminum powder, laminating resin with glass fabric and binder with grainy fillers as aluminum granules. Depending on application the suitable hardener can be mixed with the resin. AH 110/TGL is suitable as laminating resin for big surfaces at a temperature range until 110 °C.

The product group ebalta SG 2000 consists of high-quality, nearly odorless two-component-Polyurethane casting resins without mixed in filler. The filler is stirred in when the components are mixed. There are different resin components available, which are processed with one hardener. The single types differ in potlife and curing time.

Ebalta AH 110 / TGS is a non-filled epoxy resin with high strength and dimensional stability, even at increasing temperature. It also can be used as casting resin with powder fillers as aluminum powder, as laminating resin with glass fabrics and as binding resin with granular fillers as aluminum granules. Depending on the application if just needs to use a different hardener for the mixture. As laminating resin AH 110 / TGS is suitable for thin high solid laminates.

Ebalta AH 100 is a very thin, unfilled epoxy resin, which can be used with different hardeners. Depending on the application the suitable hardener can be mixed with the resin AH 100. Due to its almost odorless skinfriendly hardener GL this mixture is also suitable as laminating resin. The good wetting properties allow fast laminating and lead to high glass contents of the laminate. This way you get solid and dimensionally stable parts.

Ebalta SG 131 / PUR 11 is a Polyurethane system. Material should be carefully stirred up/ shaked before use. Filler content and sales units are on the separate mixing table noted.

Ebalta AH 110 / TG is a High strength general purpose resin.

Ebalta AH 120 / TG is a Laminating resin.

This product is a polyurethane system. Mechanical data according to test pieces post-cured for 8 hrs. at 80°C. No heavy chemical and mechanical stress before 7 days after curing at room temperature (20-23°C).

Silicone casting compound LM is an addition curing silicone which cures at room temperature. After curing the material is food safe according to "BfR" and can be used as baking tin, molds for manufactoring chocolate, and so on. Any different handling of the silicone leads to expiration of license.

SILASTIC RTV-4136-M Liquid Silicone Rubber is a two-component material consisting of a SILASTIC™ RTV-4136-M Base, which when mixed with the SILASTIC™ RTV-4136-M Curing Agent cures at room temperature by an addition reaction. A range of materials can be cast into the cured silicone mold: polyurethane, polyester and other reactive resins are materials typically used. SILASTIC RTV-4136-M Liquid Silicone Rubber designed especially for use with urethane foams and other casting plastics. This high-strength, tear resistant product cures at room or elevated temperatures by an addition reaction. The special features of SILASTIC RTV-4136-M Liquid Silicone Rubber help provide a long mold life, highly detailed reproductions and simplified handling. SILASTIC RTV-4136-M Liquid Silicone Rubber base is white, and its curing agent is regal blue to aid inspection for uniform blending. An easy-to-mix ratio of 10:1 base to curing agent helps ensure accurate measuring and blending by hand or machine. The material cures in unlimited thickness, regardless of part configuration or degree of confinement.

Ebalta GM 979 is an easy-to-handle-2components-polyurethane casting compound which shows very low adhesive properties compared to molding sand. Due to its high abrasion resistance, GM 979 is especially suitable for foundry patterns, which have to resist to abrasive wear by molded sand. GM 979 even keeps its high mechanical strength when using molding sands with higher temperatures.

Ebalta SG 700 A / PUR 5 is a two-component-Polyurethane casting resin, which cures very fast at room temperature. The very good workability and the excellent mechanical properties makes SG 700 a material with versatile application possibilities. ebalta SG 700 A is even more abrasion-resistant, but not so well workable by machine. Displacements, even made of wood, can be filled in. Material should be carefully stirred up/ shaked before use.

Ebalta GM 727 is a well castable two components polyurethane casting resin, curing slowly at room temperature. This casting resin is particularly suitable for solid casting of dimensionally accurate large-volume models with high temperature resistance. Due to low mixing viscosity of GM 727 you can add 70% filler F-B and about 50% plastic granules to reduce shrinkage to approx. 0.05%.

This product is a polyurethane system. After use please close the containers carefully. The product can be subject to color variations due to raw materials, but these color variations have no influence on the quality and the properties of the product. Seal porous mold surfaces first (ebalta mold sealer). For optimum mold releasing we recommend a special release agent (like T1-1), which can be applied easily with a brush or be sprayed. Releasing of the mold 2-3 times, evaporate for about 20 min. after each releasing.

ebalta AH 120/TC 60 is a very thin liquid epoxy resin with high values of strength and dimensional stability. Due to its good impregnating and wetting properties it is suitable as laminating resin for high-strength components with fabrics of glass –or carbon fiber. ebalta AH 120/TC 60 is suitable for laminating of thin as well as thick laminates with large surface up to a thickness of 8 mm. A post-curing should be executed, if possible before demoulding.

This product is a polyurethane system. Preferential processing in usually used vacuum pouring plants. Maximum wall thicknesses of the parts: from 5 – 10 mm.

Ebalta LH 28-1 / TM is a two components epoxy laminating resin, precuring at room temperature and, depending on postcuring, can be used till 175°C. Since this laminating resin system contains no fillers, it has got good wetting properties and makes a high glass fabric content possible. This leads to a low coefficient of thermal expansion and high strength. Together with aluminum granules, ebalta LH 28-1 is suitable for back filling of heat resistant molds and molding tools. At room temperature the curing takes 7 days and the material can only be used for applications till 60°C.

SILASTIC RTV-4260-V Kit is a two-component material consisting of a SILASTIC™ RTV4260-V Base, which when mixed with the SILASTIC™ RTV-4260-V Curing Agent cures at room temperature by an addition reaction. A range of materials can be cast into the cured silicone mold: plaster, polyurethane, and concrete are materials typically used.

ebalta 120/GL is a very low-viscous two-component epoxy resin with high strength values and fast curing. Due to its good soaking and wetting characteristics, this resin/hardener mixture is most suitable for solid parts with fabrics made of glass or carbon fibers. AH 120/GL is suitable as laminating resin for both large area- and thick laminates. Due to its almost odorless and skin-friendly GL hardener it is most suitable as laminating resin. With a mixing ratio of 100:40 you reach an about 15°C higher TG, slightly stiffer laminates as well as better impact resistance. The laminate thickness should not exceed 6-7 mm.

This product is a polyurethane system. The processing is preferably made in customary vacuum pouring plant. Manual processing possible. Maximum wall thicknesses of the parts: from 5 – 10 mm.

Ebalta MG 707 / Z 400 is a 2-components polyurethane material, which is cured thermically and used for prototypes. The four mentioned formulations differ in being filled or non-filled and their mechanical properties. The B-components Z 400 (potlife 8-12 min.) and Z 460 (potlife 60-70 min.) are identical and can be mixed with each other to control the reactivity, e.g. potlife. These combinations of Z 400 and Z 460 comp. B can be made any way as long as the totally required quantity of comp. B is observed (for each system). The total amount of Z 400 and Z 460 always has to be 30 g for 100 g comp. A

GM 987 Comp. B (Amine) can be subject to color variations due to raw materials, but these color variations have no influence on the quality and the properties of the product. The postcured material is not UV stable and darkens by and by. However according to our experience the change in color does not affect its utilizability. The mechanical properties will be reached after 7 d at room temperature or post curing of 8 h at 80°C. As bonding agent on aluminum support we recommend our PU coupling paste KP 8.

ebalta MG 425 is processed on a two-component low pressure device. The systems MG 400 / MG 425 / MG 475 are cured with the hardener PUR 19. By mixing MG 425 with MG 400 the E-modulus can variably between 630 – 1550 MPa. After grinding with a sand paper , grit 280, the surface can be varnished with a commercial lacquer. For better adhesion we recommend the use of a primer coat. Nitrocellulose lacquers have a better adhesion on polyurethane surfaces than on acryllacquer- systems. This product is a polyurethane system. The processing is preferably made in customary vacuum pouring plant. Manual processing possible. Mouldmaterial: we recommend silicone molds, for example Silastic® RTV 4234-T4O.
