TEGO® RenewHA Mandelic is an aromatic alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). Although originally derived from amygdalin, an extract from almonds, most mandelic acid today is synthetically produced.Because of its larger molecular structure relative to other AHAs like glycolic acid, mandelic acid is known to have slower penetration into the skin, which in part moderates its irritation potential to the skin. By implication, the speed of action from a mandelic acid application may be slower or more gradual than some other AHA acids, and its use may be more appropriate for sensitive skin applications.Mandelic acid has been found useful to improve various skin conditions including UV-driven lentigenes, darkening of skin seen with melasma, inflammatory acne, wrinkles, and fine lines.

SIPERNAT® 9000 PC is composed of exceptionally sturdy, round-edged hydrated silica particles and is therefore the preferred choice for formulations with a long-lasting scrubbing effect. The large SIPERNAT® 9000 PC particles are the preferred choice for strong desquamation or as a sensory indicator when combined with smaller particles for cleaning.

TEGO® RenewHA Lacto is an aldonic acid obtained from the oxidation of lactose and comprises of a galactose moiety linked to a gluconic acid molecule via an ether-like linkage. Owing to the high number of hydroxyl groups, LBA is very hygroscopic and forms gels containing about 14% water with atmospheric moisture. This performance is reportedly better than some traditional humectants such as glycerin and sorbitol.

HyaCare® a biosynthetic, non-animal derived hyaluronic acid is available. HyaCare® is based on a unique production method by fermentation of a novel strain, Bacillus subtilis. AEROSIL® R 812 S is hydrophobic fumed silica grade treated with HMDS (Hexamethyldisilazane). It is even more hydrophobic than AEROSIL® R 812 and convenient for stabilizing a defoamer and well suitable as a component of foam control agents.

HyaCare® Tremella is a Product Description (Web) Natural hyaluronic acid mimetic with great moisturization and exceptional water retention properties.

AEROSIL® R 972 is hydrophobic fumed silica grade treated with DDS (Dichlordimethylsilane). The moderate hydrophobicity of these AEROSIL® products is suited for defoaming properties in the presence of appropriate hydrophobic liquids. They are recomended for improving the sedimentation stability of defoamer dispersions as well.

AEROSIL® R 8200 is a structure modified hydrophobic silica grade treated with HMDS (Hexamethyldisilazane). It is characterized by an extremely low thickening effect and high compacted bulk density. Its high hydrophobicity makes it suitable as a defoamer silica.

SIPERNAT® 28 is a very finely milled, hydrophilic silica. It is primarily used as a thickening or free-flow agent in other applications.
