HALOX® FLASH-X® 330

1 of 36 products in this brand
HALOX® FLASH-X® 330 is a liquid additive that is effective in preventing flash rust and in-can rusting in waterborne protective coatings without the use of nitrites. It is a nitrite-free product that provides excellent flash rust inhibitory performance on various metal substrates and is recommended for use in high-gloss systems. It does not detract from gloss, is easy to use, and can be incorporated at any stage of coating manufacture. Additionally, it can be post-added to any coating system with ease. However, it is important to check compatibility before use, as with any additive.

Features

Flash Rust Corrosion Inhibitors are added to water based coatings in order to stop corrosion formation that occurs during the drying process. Without the use of Flash Rust Inhibitors, water soluble corrosion products migrate to the surface of the coating appearing as rust stains or spots. In addition to the flash rust protection provided by the entire line of HALOX® Organic Corrosion Inhibitors, we are proud to offer FLASH-X® products specifically designed to prevent unsightly staining which can ruin an otherwise perfect finish.

Advantages
HALOX® Flash-X® 330 is a low-odor, low-foam additive which has no effect on gloss and provides excellent package stability. HALOX® Flash-X® 330 contains no nitrite or nitrate compounds, is effective at low loading levels and may be incorporated at any stage of the paint manufacturing process. The product is also suitable for use in water jet-blasting and metal working applications.
