(IFTI) is the manufacturer of the industry leading DC315 intumescent coating 15-minute alternative Thermal barrier and Ignition barrier fire protection of spray foam insulation. In addition, IFTI offers highly tested firestop products, intumescent paint, fire retardant paint, thermal barriers and fire protective coatings. IFTI’s products help stop the spread of fire, smoke, and hot gasses over combustible substrates such as cables, wood, gypsum and fabrics. Equally important, IFTI products were designed and tested for the global market and are fully listed and compliant to many international standards. Standards include NFPA, ASTM, UL, ULC, Intertek and FM.

DC 6150 Cable Coating is a non-halogenated, asbestos-free, non-toxic, flexible, ablative fire retardant cable coating designed to prevent the propagation of fire along plastic jacketed electrical cables. DC 6150 Cable Coating is FM Approved and tested to ensure it can withstand extreme conditions such as freeze/thaw cycles and saltwater immersion. This testing also ensures that the protective coating does not de-rate the cable current carrying capacity. DC 6150 Cable Coating is a water-based latex and is suitable for both interior and exterior use.

DC310 fireproof cable coating for wires and cable is developed using innovative intumescent technology. It is a heavy-duty intumescent coating for interior applications used to effectively prevent flame spread. When a fire occurs, the coating will rapidly intumesce to form a foam char layer that prevents fire propagation. DC310 fireproof cable coating is water-based, asbestos-free, non-halogenated, and environmentally-friendly. DC310 can protect cables for up to 90minutes at 1,100⁰C as per UL 1709 hydrocarbon temperature curve.
