MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC FC 740/9 PTFE10 is a base polymer composed of polycarbonate, high heat polycarbonate, and 10% PTFE, which offers improved sliding and wear. It is suitable for various market segments and can be used for injection molded parts and functional components. The pre-drying conditions for this product are in a dry air (desiccant) dryer 100-120°C for 2-3 hours, or in an air circulating dryer 100-120°C for 4-12 hours, depending on moisture content. For optimal results, the processing injection molding melt temperature should be 270-310°C and mold temperature should be 80-110°C.
