Dissolvine M-X is a high purity, versatile and readily biodegradable chelate. It can replace phosophorous-containing builders, enhance the cleaning power of a detergent, and prevent deactivation of surfactants in hard water. The active component is MGDA, a chelating agent with three carboxylic groups. Together with the central nitrogen atom these carboxylic groups provide strong multiple bonds with di- and trivalent metal ions. The small molecular size enables rapid action at low temperatures and in short contact time. The MGDA trisodium salt is fully REACH registered. Excellent low toxicity and low eco-toxicological permit non-dangerous labelling. MGDA-Na3 is listed on EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List in the United States. As an ingredient in cleaning formulations, the MGDA in Dissolvine M-X improves the descaling and cleaning capabilities. This includes whiteness and color care benefits in laundry and stain removal abilities in automatic dish washing (ADW). Since MGDA is also a strong chelating agent for heavy metal ions, such as Fe and Cu, it enhances product stability and prevents negative effects of transition metals.

ELFACOS GT 282S enables formulators to create crystal clear gel and cleansing formulations in a wide pH range (2-12) in surfactants and water systems. DERMACRYL C film forming polymer is an innovative film forming polymer technology designed especially for color cosmetics applications. Amaze XT is a 100% renewable, natural, multifunctional polymeric rheology modifier with exceptional thickening performance, superior suspension capabilities and esthetic properties for use in a wide range of personal care applications. DERMACRYL 79 is a hydrophobic, high molecular weight carboxylated acrylic copolymer. DERMACRYL 79 is inherently moisture resistant — the polymer can be used in waterproof sunscreens as well as a variety of creams and lotions. It forms an excellent low-shine film for resistance to abrasion or rub-off and helps maintain active ingredients at the application site. Balance® CR polymer is a film forming hair fixative primarily designed for low VOC aerosol hair spray systems. It is supplied as an easy to use liquid emulsion, provides very low viscosities in high-water formulations, and its molecular weight has been optimized for superior stiffness and high humidity hold. Films of the polymer are hard but provide a more natural, flexible feel on the hair compared to the AMPHOMER polymer technology. Balance® CR polymer uses Nouryon's low-corrosion technology, which reduces the level of corrosion that is typically associated with emulsion polymers.

RESYN XP is an acrylic film-former developed for use in cost-efficient, high hydrocarbon hair spray systems. It provides excellent curl retention expected from a high performance acrylate and can be formulated to provide a range of hold levels from very stiff to natural hold. It also provides excellent on-hair feel suitable for leave on and other hair styling products. RESYN XP polymer can tolerate up to 60% hydrocarbon propellant and still maintain a cloud point of -20°C.

NATRASORB BATH is able to absorb and carry large quantities of oils and anhydrous liquids, such as bath oils. The starch is processed in a manner that creates unique 'pockets' that can carry the oils essentially in a solid, powder form. NATRASORB BATH starch is hydrophilic so that once the starch comes in contact with water, it immediately dissolves, releasing loaded oils, fragrances and/or emulsifiers, dispersing them into the warm water. The starch itself provides a soft feel to the bath water, but does not settle or leave a film.

ELFACOS ST 9 are unique polyalkalene glycols which have excellent stabilizing effect on emulsions. Having a high capacity to absorb water and oil, a relatively low percentage is needed in cosmetic formulations. The stabilizing effect is not obtained by thickening, allowing for low viscous stable emulsions to be achieved. As nonionic copolymers, Elfacos ST 9 and Elfacos ST 37 polyalkylene glycol derivatives are hydrolytic, pH and electrolyte stable over a very wide temperature range.
