Polynt Composites’ ArmorFlex® 953 Series gel coats are high performance products formulated for the fiberglass industry. They are primarily formulated for marine and sanitary applications,but should be used in any application where water and chemical resistance are needed. ArmorFlex® 953 Series also have exceptional gloss and buffing characteristics. While offering these benefits,the ArmorFlex® 953 Series gel coats have retained the important construction application qualities expected from Polynt Composites gel coats,such as resistance to porosity,tearing,and color separation; sag resistance; consistent liquid properties; excellent patchability; and more. These all add up to higher quality appeal in FRP parts made from Polynt’s ArmorFlex® HIGH GLOSS BUFFBACK® gel coats. ArmorFlex® 953 Series gel coats have enabled customers to meet and surpass all requirements of the American National Standard for plastic bathtubs,shower receptors and shower stalls,ANSI Z124.1,.2 and .3 –1995,Sec. 6.1.1. Gel coats in the 953 Series require only the addition of the proper amount of the appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. ArmorFlex® HIGH GLOSS BUFFBACK® gel coats are available in the same wide range of colors as other POLYCOR® gel coats. Refer to Polynt’s POLYCOR® Color Card for color selection. Standard base white ArmorFlex® is 953WJ340.

POLYCOR® TOOLING PA CLEAR 0200 - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This product is recommended for mold manufacturing process and provide durable surfaces to withstand the repeated moldings of GRP laminates.

OPTIPLUS 40-8091 - Single component tooling resin that allows for rapid mold building by infusion. Resulting tools have excellent heat resistsance,dimensional stability and exceptional mechnical properties while also being light weight. Product is MACT compliant with a longer gel time than 040-8089.

Polynt Group HUP 17/25 RB-Color is generally used in electronic and electrical, foundries, peroxides applications.

Polynt Group 55, 55X is designed for interior application; meets particular flame-retardant requirements; not recommended for parts used under direct sun exposure or prolonged water immersion. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

Polycor® Tooling VE BR Neutral 0000 - speciality vinyl ester based gel coat formulated to provide our highest level of heat resistance. A high gloss durable surface, resilient to the repeated molding cycles of composite production. High levels of styrene and chemical resistance.

Polycor® 945 Neutral Base - polyester and vinyl ester tooling gel coats. Formulated specifically for mold making. High gloss and hard, durable surfaces. It is generally used in textile industry applicatons.

Polynt Group 23V, 23VX - tooling gel coat; suitable for molds; cures to a very hard and resilient surface with a high gloss; high heat distortion temperature. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

Polynt Group HUP 16/25 RN-Decor is generally used in building and construction, cosmetics, foundries, peroxides applications.

Polydyne® 5005 is used for general purpose and gel coat formulation. Main applications areas are composites, textile industry etc.

Polynt Group HUP 16/25 RN-Deko is generally used in foundries, home and domestic applications, peroxides applications.

Polynt Group HUP 12/34 RN Color is generally used in automotive, foundries, mass transports, peroxides applications.

Polynt Group HUP 10/25 RN-Color is generally used in electronic and electrical, foundries, peroxides applications.

Polynt Group 23 series of gelcoats are formulated specifically for composite mold making. It is formulated with a special base resin that permits an excellent resistance to heat distortion even after repeated use. They provide a high gloss and hard durable surface. These tooling gel coats are formulated ready-to-spray after the addition of the proper amount of appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide or cumene hydro peroxide catalyst. The low opacity formulation help to detect default during spraying process. See section: application in PB-5 polyester tooling because even though manufacturing precautions are used to make tooling gelcoat, a misapplication of these products can produce unacceptable results.

Polynt Group 787-5995 - toughened vinyl ester resin core shell rubber that offers dramatically improved fracture toughness and corrosion resistance of typical vinyl ester resins; promoted for room temperature cure. Armorflex® 945 - polyester and vinyl ester tooling gel goats; formulated specifically for mold making; high gloss and hard, durable surfaces. Main applications areas are composites, industrial sector etc.

Polycor® Tooling SP gel coats are formulated specifically for mold making. These precision-formulated gel coats utilize selected resins that exhibit high heat distortion to withstand the repeated molding of FRP laminates. None of these products contain lead. They provide a high gloss and hard durable surface. These tooling gel coats are formulated ready-to-spray after the addition of the proper amount of an appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide catalyst. They are formulated to be low in hide so that imperfections can be easily spotted. Read application instructions carefully, because even though manufacturing precautions are used to make tooling gel coat, a misapplication of these products can produce unacceptable results.

Polynt Group 22-010LV clear series gelcoat is formulated from high quality iso-npg polyester resin, and is suitable for use in the manufacture of sanitary applications and cultured marble. This gelcoat provide quality finishes which deliver good water resistance, gloss retention and resiliency. The 22-010lv series gelcoat are sag resistant and have a fast curing system.Formulated for spray and roll applicationfast gel time and cure time that provide a good cure.Require only the addition of a proper amount of mekp to cure.Permit to fabricator to meet requirements of the canadian standard association b45, 5-02 parts that have to be assembled should be sanded before, to obtain a good adhesion. The 22-010lv series gelcoat may be applied by brush, roller or spray.

Polycor® Tooling VE SP gel coats are specifically formulated with selected vinyl ester resins that exhibit high heat distortion temperature to withstand the repeated molding of FRP laminates. They provide a high gloss and hard durable surface. These tooling gel coats are ready to be sprayed after the addition of the proper amount of the appropriate of promoters, then the right amount of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide. Read application instructions carefully, because even though manufacturing precautions are used to make tooling gel coat, a misapplication of these products can produce unacceptable results.
