NORYL™ Resin NH5120BIO1 is a blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS) with bio-based content, and it is not reinforced. This resin is suitable for injection molding and boasts a UL94 flame rating of V1 at 1.5mm, thanks to its non-brominated and non-chlorinated flame retardant properties. NORYL™ Resin NH5120BIO1 offers a balanced combination of heat resistance, flowability, hydrolytic stability, low creep, dimensional stability, and excellent mechanical property retention, even in demanding outdoor conditions. It is well-suited for applications such as outdoor housings and enclosures, HVAC components, as well as photovoltaic and solar junction box applications.
