Its chemical structure forms a three-dimensional network of polysilicic acid units, which are endblocked with trimethylsilyl groups. The product contains residual ethoxy and hydroxy functions. The average molecular weight can be precisely controlled by adjusting the ratio of M and Q units, with WACKER® MQ 803 TF having a ratio of approximately 0.67. WACKER® MQ 803 TF is a pure white powder that is manufactured to be largely free of volatile impurities, containing only trace amounts of aliphatic hydrocarbons. The product's low presence of fine dust particles and its uniform spherical particle shape contribute to its excellent rheological properties, particularly its flowability. As a result, common powder processing techniques such as bottling, conveying, and metering are simplified.
