ELASTOSIL® R 401/40 S is a high-consistency silicone rubber (HCR). Vulcanizates cured with peroxide made from this compound exhibit a unique combination of characteristics. It is noted for its good flexibility, high transparency, and mechanical properties. The compound is easily pigmented with ELASTOSIL® Color Paste PT and has good processing characteristics.

ELASTOSIL® R 500/70 OH is a peroxide-cured high-consistency silicone rubber (HCR) for general-purpose applications. This product can be used within a temperature range of -55 °C to +210 °C. The addition of heat stabilizers at service temperatures of more than 180°C is recommended.
