HDK® H13L is a synthetic, hydrophobic, amorphous silica produced via flame hydrolysis. It is a white colloidal powder of high purity. HDK® H13L is primarily used as a thickening, thixotropic, and anti-sedimentation agent in various applications such as coatings, printing inks, adhesives, and others. It finds its main application in polar systems. The strong hydrophobicity of HDK® H13L makes it particularly suitable for solvent-free systems, high solids formulations, and waterborne coatings.

ELASTOSIL® 4100 is a one-component, acid-curing, low-modulus silicone sealant with outstanding adhesion and a long shelf life for construction, glazing, and window applications, as well as sanitary applications. VINNOL® H 15/42 is a copolymer consisting of approximately 86 wt.% vinyl chloride (VC) and 14 wt.% vinyl acetate (VAc). Its primary application is as a binder in surface coating compounds and printing inks. This thermoplastic and physically drying binder undergoes film formation as the solvent present in the formulation evaporates.

SILRES® H62 C is a liquid, solvent-free, one-part heat-curing phenyl silicone resin formulation. The product is ideal for impregnating the electrical coils of motors and generators. Besides, SILRES® H62 C can be used to provide hydrophobic properties to porous materials and as a binder for composites made of fibrous fillers, cloths, and woven or non-woven reinforcing materials. The formulation is ready-to-use and crosslinks under heat. While curing, SILRES® H62 C does not release chemical byproducts, so curing shrinkage is barely noticeable. The product also thermosets in thick layers, even when in contact with air. Fully cured SILRES® H62 C has excellent electrical insulation properties and outstanding long-term heat resistance. Additionally, it shows high stability against weathering, moisture, and UV light and can therefore be continuously exposed to constantly changing climatic conditions or UV radiation.

ELASTOSIL® SUB C 2000 A/B is a two-component silicone rubber specifically developed for deep-sea applications. It is a pourable material that undergoes addition curing. This silicone rubber exhibits flexibility at both low temperatures (-40 °C) and high temperatures (+180 °C). It has a low viscosity, making it ideal for the manufacturing of various thermal insulating devices.

WACKER® Silicate MKS is an ethyl silicate binder suitable for the formulation of one-pack ethyl silicate zinc-rich primers. These primers are excellent anti-corrosive coatings. WACKER® Silicate MKS is a binder with outstanding anti-setting properties. Paints formulated with it are easy to stir up, even if they have been stored for a long time.

WACKER® Silicate TES 40 WN is an ethyl silicate polymer. It is a low-viscosity liquid that provides approximately 41% of silicon dioxide (silica) upon complete hydrolysis. WACKER® Silicate TES 40 WN is used for the precipitation of polymeric SiO2 structures (silica) upon complete hydrolysis, with ethanol being produced as a by-product.

This thermoplastic binder undergoes a physically drying process, resulting in the formation of a film as the solvent within the formulation evaporates.

HDK® N20 is a synthetic, hydrophilic, amorphous silica produced through flame hydrolysis. It is a standard product widely used in various industrial applications. This white colloidal powder offers high purity and serves multiple purposes. One of the primary applications of HDK® N20 is as a thickening and thixotropic agent in organic systems such as unsaturated polyesters, coatings, printing inks, adhesives, and cosmetics. Additionally, it functions as a reinforcing filler in elastomers, particularly silicone elastomers.

ELASTOSIL® N 2076 is a flowable, one-part silicone rubber for coating and encapsulation applications. When exposed to air moisture, it cures at room temperature to yield a permanently flexible silicone rubber with good heat resistance and excellent flame retardant properties. Fully vulcanized ELASTOSIL® N 2076 shows long-term stability against weathering, moisture, and UV radiation. The silicone elastomer may continuously be exposed to constantly changing climatic conditions, UV radiation, and temperatures as high as 180°C (356°F) without damage.

VINNOL® H 40/60 is a copolymer composed of approximately 61 wt.% vinyl chloride (VC) and approximately 39 wt.% vinyl acetate (VAc). Primarily, it serves as a binder for surface coating compounds and printing inks. As a thermoplastic binder, VINNOL® H 40/60 undergoes physical drying, resulting in the formation of a film as the solvent in the formulation evaporates.

WACKER® Silicate S100 is a ready-to-use ethyl silicate binder with a flash point above 21°C. It is primarily used for formulating single-pack ethyl silicate zinc-rich primers, which are commonly used as anti-corrosive coatings. This product is particularly suitable for applications in marine, protective, and industrial coatings.

GENIOSIL® GF 80 is an epoxy functional alkoxysilane. When used as a coupling agent in mineral-filled plastics, it enhances filler dispersibility, reduces sedimentation tendency, and significantly lowers the resin's viscosity. Moreover, it allows for higher filler loading and provides notable improvements in water (vapor) resistance, as well as resistance to acids and bases. In the realm of adhesives and sealants, incorporating GENIOSIL® GF 80 enhances adhesion to the substrate and improves mechanical properties like flexural strength, tensile strength, and modulus of elasticity.

ELASTOSIL® S 699 A/B is a slightly self-leveling, 2-part silicone rubber used for molding applications. It is addition-curing and quickly cures at elevated temperatures, resulting in a permanently flexible and low-density vulcanizate that can be easily ground. SILRES® HK 46 is a high-molecular-weight methyl silicone resin supplied as a 50 wt.% solution in xylene-butanol 4:1. It is commonly used as a binder for high heat-resistant coatings and heat-stable nonstick coatings. GENIOSIL® XL 10 is an alkoxyvinyl silane compound. When exposed to moisture, the silane undergoes hydrolysis, resulting in the release of methanol. This hydrolysis process leads to the formation of silanols, which have the ability to react with each other and form siloxanes. The applications of GENIOSIL® XL 10 include marine and protective coatings, plastic additives, and plastic crosslinking.
