SILRES® KX can be used effectively as a binder for various types of coatings. It offers exceptional heat resistance and weatherability, and when applied, it dries without being tacky. The resin can also undergo heat curing, further enhancing its performance. SILRES® KX is particularly well-suited for highly-filled coatings, allowing for the incorporation of a high level of fillers while maintaining excellent properties and durability.

WACKER® Silicate TES 40 WN is an ethyl silicate polymer. It is a low-viscosity liquid that provides approximately 41% of silicon dioxide (silica) upon complete hydrolysis. WACKER® Silicate TES 40 WN is used for the precipitation of polymeric SiO2 structures (silica) upon complete hydrolysis, with ethanol being produced as a by-product.

VINNOL® E 15/45 M is a carboxylate-containing terpolymer consisting of approximately 84 wt.% vinyl chloride (VC), 15 wt.% vinyl acetate (VAc), and 1 wt.% dicarboxylic acid. It functions primarily as a binder in surface coating compounds and printing inks. This thermoplastic binder undergoes a physically drying process, resulting in the formation of a film as the solvent within the formulation evaporates.

HDK® T30 is a hydrophilic, synthetic, amorphous silica produced through flame hydrolysis. It is a standard product widely used in various industrial applications. HDK® T30 is a white colloidal powder of high purity. It finds application in inkjet paper, make-up, powder coatings, printing inks, and rheology control.

WACKER® Silicate S100 is a ready-to-use ethyl silicate binder with a flash point above 21°C. GENIOSIL® GF 80 is an epoxy functional alkoxysilane. When used as a coupling agent in mineral-filled plastics, it enhances filler dispersibility, reduces sedimentation tendency, and significantly lowers the resin's viscosity. Moreover, it allows for higher filler loading and provides notable improvements in water (vapor) resistance, as well as resistance to acids and bases. WACKER® Silicate TES 28 is a monomeric ethyl silicate, also known as tetraethoxysilane or tetraethyl orthosilicate. This product is commonly used in the formulation of anti-corrosive coatings, marine and protective coatings, as well as industrial coatings.

VINNAPAS® UW 1 FS is a tasteless, solid, thermoplastic homopolymer. It is a clear and colorless resin obtained through the polymerization of vinyl acetate. This versatile product finds application in various fields, including fiber-reinforced plastics, adhesives, powder injection molding, and sound damping.

HDK® H18 is a synthetic, hydrophobic, amorphous silica produced via flame hydrolysis. It is a white colloidal powder of high purity. HDK® H18 is used as a thickening and thixotropic agent in composites, coatings, adhesives, and sealants, particularly in vinylester, epoxy, and polyurethane systems.

SILRES® IC 232 is a solventless, reactive, methoxyfunctional methyl-phenyl polysiloxane with a narrow molecular weight distribution. It is highly suitable for blending with other binder systems to introduce a compatible silicone component. This addition helps to enhance the weathering or heat resistance of the resulting mixture or formulation.

SILRES® SY 409 is a solution of methylphenyl group-containing silicone resin that is recommended as a binder for medium- or high-solids heat-resistant paints in combination with other organic resins. It is highly suitable for introducing a compatible silicone component into other binder systems to increase their weathering or heat resistance.

Wacker Chemie Silane M1-Trimethoxy is a clear, colorless liquid with the characteristic odor of alcohols. It is primarily used to provide water repellency to various surfaces and materials, such as mineral fillers, pigments, glass, and cardboard. Additionally, SILANE M1-TRIMETHOXY is employed in the manufacturing of silicone resins and condensation-curing silicone rubber. It also finds application in aqueous sol-gel coating systems to produce organic-inorganic hybrids.

SILRES® HK 46 is a high-molecular-weight methyl silicone resin supplied as a 50 wt.% solution in xylene-butanol 4:1. It is commonly used as a binder for high heat-resistant coatings and heat-stable nonstick coatings. SILRES® HK 46 is suitable for various heat-resistant paints and is an excellent choice for (anti-corrosion) coatings on fireplaces, mufflers, exhaust systems, engine parts, boilers, furnaces, ovens and oven inserts, chimneys, barbeques, electric and gas heaters, and incinerators.

SILRES® IC 678 is a solventless, reactive, methoxyfunctional phenyl polysiloxane with a narrow molecular weight distribution. This solvent-free liquid resin is specifically designed to enhance the weathering and heat resistance of organic resins. It is highly suitable for incorporating a compatible silicone component into other binder systems, thereby increasing their weathering or heat resistance properties. By adding SILRES® IC 678 to binder formulations, the overall performance and durability of the resulting materials can be significantly improved.

SILRES® MSE 100 is the methyl ester of a mixture of different oligomeric methylsilicates. It is a methoxyfunctional methyl polysiloxane. SILRES® MSE 100 is specifically recommended as an ambient-temperature moisture-curing binder for heat-resistant paints. When combined with suitable catalysts, temperature-stable pigments, and fillers, SILRES® MSE 100 becomes the optimal binder for ambient-curing, heat-resistant paints.

SILRES® MP 50 E is an emulsion of methyl phenyl group-containing silicone resin. When combined with suitable temperature-stable pigments and fillers, SILRES® MP 50 E becomes the ideal binder for heat-resistant water-borne paints. VINNOL® E 18/38 is a copolymer consisting of approximately 82 wt.% vinyl chloride (VC) and 18 wt.% vinyl acetate (VAc). It is primarily utilized as a binder in printing inks and surface coating compounds. This thermoplastic binder undergoes a physically drying process, resulting in the formation of a film as the solvent within the formulation evaporates.

GENIOSIL® XL 10 is an alkoxyvinyl silane compound. When exposed to moisture, the silane undergoes hydrolysis, resulting in the release of methanol. This hydrolysis process leads to the formation of silanols, which have the ability to react with each other and form siloxanes. The applications of GENIOSIL® XL 10 include marine and protective coatings, plastic additives, and plastic crosslinking.

SILRES® 603 is a solid silicone resin that contains phenyl groups and is known for its good compatibility with organic polymers. When creating heat-resistant and black pigmented powder coatings, it is recommended to blend SILRES® 603 with organic binders specifically designed for powder coatings. CRA® 21 is an exceptional controlled release additive specifically formulated for adjusting the release force in solvent-based DEHESIVE® systems.
