Akron Coating and Adhesives ACA-30-016 is a heat activated latent cure waterborne adhesive. The adhesive will work with plastic over-molding or extrusion onto the metal. Pre-heating metal components to 200°F may be necessary in injection molding applications. The adhesive is unique in that it has a latent cure mechanism that cures the adhesive during heat activation providing salt-water and solvent resistance.

ULTRA-PEP™ 90 is a multi functional processing additive. ULTRA-PEP™ 90 works as a mild mastication agent in the early stage of NR compounding and subsequently aids filler dispersion and down line processing, like extrusion and mold flow. Since the mastication effect is slower than with common peptizing agents, fewer break downs of polymer chains can be observed, resulting in better physical and dynamic properties. ULTRA-PEP™ 90 can be added in the masterbatch compound with other compounding ingredients and therefore a pre-mastication step is not needed. As such, additional cost saving could be achieved.

BIONOX® 168 is a hydrolytically stable phosphite processing stabilizer, exhibits low volatility and is particularly resistant to hydrolysis, protects polymers which are prone to oxidation, during the processing steps (compounding/pelletizing, fabrication and recycling) from molecular weight change (e.g. chain scission/crosslinking) and prevents discoloration.

THERMLfilm® THT™ 9003 is a durable thermal transfer printable topcoat that allows for printability at 600 DPI for high-density barcodes like data matrix codes while maintaining consistent ANSI scannability. Roflam P (TCPP) is a widely used flame retardant in the plastics industry, especially in polyurethane processing. It is one of the most effective flame retardants due to the presence of chlorine and phosphorus in the chemical structure.
