BTC Europe GmbH Sodium Silicate 40/42.is a versatile liquid with sodium silicate as its primary chemical component. Nuclesil® 70 serves various markets, including building and construction, hi-care, industrial, and paint and coating applications. Its applications span across building and construction (decorative paints, building materials, plasters, and renders), decorative materials and finishes, hiandi care (home care surface care, institutional and industrial care), industrial cleaning, and power, water, and utilities (water treatment applicable processes, cement manufacturing). It finds utility in home care applications like cleaners and detergents, as well as in iandi cleaning applications and industrial additives. Its end use includes plasterboard, with a physical form available in liquid.

Dynasylan® SILBOND® Condensed serves as a raw material composed of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS; Si[OEt]4 ). This substance is utilized for acid- or alkali-catalyzed hydrolysis and subsequent condensation reactions, commonly known as the sol-gel process. The rate of gelation is influenced by the concentration of water and the pH.

Dynasylan® A is also known as TEOS (tetraethoxysilane), is the ethyl ester of orthosilicic acid. This colorless, low-viscosity liquid boasts a SiO content of 28.5%. Utilization involves acid- or alkali-catalyzed hydrolysis, leveraging all four ethoxy groups for reaction and earning it tetrafunctional status. Hydrolysis initiates silanol group formation, which further condenses to establish robust siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-). Notably, condensation begins before hydrolysis concludes, with ongoing condensation during storage resulting in gel formation. Gelation rate hinges on water concentration.

Dynasylan® SILBOND® 40 is an ethyl polysilicate, emerges from partial hydrolysis of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS). This transformation converts ethoxy groups into hydroxyl groups, generating silanols. Subsequent condensation of silanols engenders siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-O-) and prompts eventual gelation. Often deployed as an intermediary, Dynasylan® SILBOND® 40 undergoes further hydrolysis to produce a binder suitable for diverse applications. These include inorganic zinc-rich primers, investment casting molds, ceramic shapes, coatings, and thermal insulation.

JetFil® V390 is an extremely platy, coarse talc product that is beneficiated to maximize stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in plastics applications. The particle size distribution and top size of this product are engineered and controlled to provide maximum impact strength and the best balance of stiffness/impact resistance.

JetFil® H590 is an off-white talc recommended for improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in polymer applications. It is used in polypropylene applications to achieve maximum stiffness at loading levels as high as 20%, 40%, or higher. It is commonly used in wood-plastic composites (WPC).

JetFil® 575C-HB is a white, high-purity, extremely platy, fine talc. It is recommended for excellent stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in high-performance plastics, plastic films, and wire and cable applications. Mistroblock 1HT-1HTC is a bright, micro-lamellar talc with the finest size distribution among the Mistroblock® products to maximize clarity and provide a minimum effect on haze. It is developed specifically for polyolefin film anti-blocking applications with excellent mechanical film properties. Mistroblock® 1HT is surface modified for reduced interaction with processing aids and improved dispersion in masterbatch applications. Mistroblock® 1HTC is the compacted form of Mistroblock® 1HT and is recommended for maximum extruder throughput and minimum dust formation.

Crys-Talc® 4H-4HC is a high-purity, high-brightness, platy, medium-sized talc used in interior and exterior coating, adhesive, and sealant formulations to reduce hard settling, improve sag resistance, and maximize prime pigment extension. Crys-Talc® 4H is used in solid-color and semitransparent wood stains to prevent tannin bleed and improve gloss uniformity without introducing abrasive characteristics. Crys-Talc® 4H has a platy, hydrophobic structure used in  architectural and industrial primers to improve barrier properties which impart corrosion resistance and stain blocking  ability.
