Ertalyte® Sterra™ PET is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline grade that is produced from proprietary resin grades made by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials. Clin-Cat 839 Cationic Corn Starch #028839 is specifically prepared with the addition of adipic acid to produce a superior starch for the internal sizing of paper. This product can improve the retention of fillers such as titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, and clay. It can also improve the retention of fine fibers and sheet strength (i.e., burst strength and Scott bond). This cationic corn starch is derivatized using a quaternary amine. Since its cationic charge is observed over a wide pH range, it can be suitable for either acidic or alkaline papermaking systems.

Clinton 441 Oxidized Corn Starch #028441 is specifically processed to produce a superior converting starch that is well suited to the thermal converting techniques used in paper mill operations. When jet-cooked, the resulting paste displays a low viscosity and a clear appearance. It maintains desirable characteristics with a low setback rate, such as the white color and minimal residue. This starch product displays properties typical of thick, unmodified, boiling starches. Clinton 608 Industrial Corn Starch #028608 is a crosslinked starch that is designed to provide the viscosity characteristics needed in the manufacture of ceiling tiles. This product provides a peak viscosity that is higher than unmodified starches with minimal peak viscosity breakdown. It improves ceiling tile texture and reduces edge slumping.

Clinton 130 Corn Starch #028130 is an enzyme-converting starch containing an effective buffer system for optimum pH control that helps maintain efficient utilization of the enzyme during the conversion process. This ADM starch has been designed to be equally suitable for surface sizing and coating adhesive applications. For surface sizing operations, the enzyme-converted starch pastes are translucent and white and can be readily diluted to any desired concentration at the size press to produce the needed viscosity. For coating color adhesive operations, this product (with the appropriate enzyme dose) can produce a thin viscosity and consistently convert to the same viscosity each time. The resulting paste does not have an excessive reaction to plasticizers normally used in coating formulations. Therefore, good control of the final coating color viscosity is maintained. The resulting pastes of this product from both low and high solid enzyme conversion cycles have strong adhesive properties, which are suitable for mills making different grades of surface-sized or coated paper.

ULTEM™ Resin AUR200G6 is a 30% glass fiber filled ULTEM Utility grade. The grade will have a limited color availability, dark gray to black. The data listed in this data sheet are the lower specification limits, apart from the MFR, CTE, HDT at 1.8 MPa, Density, Tensile strain, Water Absorption, Thermal Conductivity and Shrinkage which are typical data. The MVR of this material at 337 degrees C/6.7 kgf will have a specification between 3 and 7.5 (MFR: 4.2-10.5)
