Recently high purity LA is investigated for polymer brush made by ATRP (Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization) with Stearyl acrylate [2], or fabrication of ultrahydrophobilc on silicon wafer 3]. They are called as Side Chain Crystallization polymer, and have not only Tg, but also melting point (Tm) even though usual acrylic polymers do not have Tm.
