ELASTOSIL® LR 34004/50 A/B is a paste-like, white, two-component liquid silicone rubber with a very short curing time. Vulcaniates are noted for their radio-opaqueness. ELASTOSIL® LR 34004/50 A/B contains barium sulfate as a radio-opaque additive, which meets the requirements of the US and European Pharmacopeia.

ELASTOSIL® LR 3070/40 US A/B is a primerless, self-bonding liquid silicone rubber (LSR) grade that adheres to various plastic substrates, e.g. PA, PBT, and metals, but not to the mold surface. The bonding is improved by oven-curing for 1 hour at 100°C or 24 hours at room temperature.

Its vulcanizates are noted for their significantly reduced tendency towards radical-induced reattachment, i.e., healing, of slit valve surfaces during sterilization by gamma irradiation and e-beam (≤ 75 kGy).
