In 1964, my visionary father, Clyde “Bud” Boyle, founded General Sealants® in a two car garage in Whittier, CA. He identified a glaring need and developed a new standard in extruded sealants that quickly became a mainstay in the industry, manufacturing moldable, sticky solids into pre-formed tapes and beads in a variety of sizes. My father’s dedication to innovation and quality, coupled with his commitment to customer service, struck a chord and his new company established a firm footing in the marketplace. He didn’t last long in that garage, ultimately moving to our current headquarters in City of Industry, CA. At the outset, our products were widely used in pipeline and construction applications, but the boom in aerospace and composite industries found my father and I innovating again, finding ourselves at the forefront of those burgeoning sectors. With the help of our technicians, we developed extruded sealants that cured at specific temperatures and could be stripped clean from the tooling dies. Over the years, General Sealants® grew from its humble beginnings into a worldwide leader in the pipeline, construction, aerospace/composite, telecommunication, automotive, and HVAC industries. We consistently push the limits of sealant and adhesive technology, designing new techniques in order to meet the world’s increasingly challenging requirements. General Sealants® operates with a cutting-edge, research-focused approach and a global outlook. At the same time, quality is our number-one priority, ensuring our customers receive reliably consistent formulas of the highest standard. Since the beginning, we have made it our mission to find solutions to our customer’s application needs, while still providing the high level of customer service established as the foundation of my father’s business. Innovation is a prime component of our DNA and we consistently drive the industry, pushing the limits of sealant and adhesive technologies. We continue to be a family-run business with the same values and commitment established by my father in that garage over fifty years ago. General Sealants® is now one of the largest privately owned sealant and adhesive companies in the world and our shared dedication and vision keeps us at the cutting edge. We’re not just a vendor; we are partners in your success. We’re family.

"Alden & Ott Printing Inks Company was founded by Joe Alden and Henry Ott in 1957 as an offset ink manufacturer. Like most small companies, they saw an opportunity and had a vision and a belief that they could do it better. Starting with just a few select printers, they developed better formulations with better performance and delivered them with better service. The company began to grow. Henry Ott, who was the company chemist, decided to pursue other interests. Joe Alden purchased his shares in the company and continued to grow the business. His passion for excellence was passed on to his four sons, Joe, Tom, John and Ted. In the early 80s the company formed a new printing blanket converting division to offer additional services to their customers. Mr. Alden's son Joe took over the management of Premier Blanket Services, Inc. and today it is the largest independent converter of printing blankets in the country. Alden & Ott Printing Inks Company is now a proud extension of the hubergroup family. hubergroup is one of the world's leading specialists for printing inks, coatings and press room auxiliaries, currently comprising 40 companies and 130 sites. "Cresset Chemical Company is a privately held manufacturing company producing and selling chemical products for the construction industry. Our products are environmentally friendly and include form release agents (approximately seventy-five percent of our business), curing compounds, concrete sealers, industrial hand cleaners, form treatments and spray application equipment. They exceed Federal EPA requirements and most meet or exceed the more restrictive regulations in California and OTC states like New York and New Jersey Cresset has always maintained good relationships with customers, vendors, employees and financial institutions. We continue to actively participate with national and international organizations to promote and encourage the use of concrete as a good looking, durable construction material. Since 1946, Cresset has lead the industry in the development of eco-responsible, innovative products and services. Our reputation is built on using quality, virgin materials and strict quality controls that produce attractive concrete surfaces and consistent products batch after batch, year after year. In addition to our eco-responsible products, we also offer USDA registered bio-based and bio-preferred products made from domestic sources that helps reduce crude oil imports. A release agent is the least expensive item in any construction project yet it has a lasting effect on the surface appearance. Using Cresset’s premium form release agents actually reduces production costs by extending the workable lifespan of the form and minimizing the labor necessary to clean and prepare dirty molds. This is true with any project – from a fifty story high rise to lawn ornaments, culverts and concrete pipes."
